- ランプホルダ(162,462)と、ランプ側(126,426)及び電線側(128,428)を有するハウジング(122,422)とからなるランプ組立体(120,420)を具備し、
前記ランプ側がランプリセプタクル(200,500)と、前記ランプリセプタクル内に形成された溝(202,204,502,504)とを有し、前記ランプホルダは前記ランプリセプタクルに受容されるランプ及びソケット組立体(100,400)において、
前記ランプホルダは、端部パネル(164,166,464,466)を有し、
該溝は対向する両側壁(218,518)を有し、
該両側壁の各々は係合面(240,526)を有し、
該係合面は、前記端部パネルの側縁(174,474)と係合して前記ランプリセプタクル内に前記ランプ組立体を保持し、
前記ハウジングは1対の安定化塔を有し、
該安定化塔の少なくとも1個は、前記ハウジングの前記ランプ側から前記電線側まで貫通する通路(258,558)を画定し、
該通路は、前記電線側を封止するために前記ランプ側から前記電線側までポッティング材料を運ぶよう構成されていることを特徴とするランプ及びソケット組立体。 - 前記ランプハウジングの取付け孔を封止するために前記ハウジングに取り付けられたシール部材(148)をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のランプ及びソケット組立体。
- 前記ランプ組立体はランプ延長部(180,480)を有し、
前記ハウジングは1対の安定化塔(254,554)を有し、
該安定化塔は、該安定化塔の間に間隙(260,560)を画定し、
前記ランプ延長部は前記間隙に受容されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のランプ及びソケット組立体。 - 前記溝は、第1及び第2の開放溝(202,204,502,504)を具備し、
該開放溝の各々は、端壁(216,516)と、1対の対向する側壁(218,518)とを有し、
前記側壁の少なくとも一方にラッチ部材(248,548)が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のランプ及びソケット組立体。 - 前記ランプホルダは、第1及び第2の端部パネルを有し、
前記溝は、第1及び第2の開放溝を有し、
前記開放溝の各々は、整列スロット(242,542)を有する端壁(216,516)を有し、
前記端部パネルの各々は、位置決めタブ(176,476)を有し、
該位置決めタブは前記整列スロットに受容されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のランプ及びソケット組立体。 - 前記ハウジングの前記電線側は、ポッティング材料で封止される配線キャビティを有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のランプ及びソケット組立体。
- 前記ランプホルダは、第1及び第2の端部パネルを有し、
前記ランプリセプタクルは、第1及び第2の開放溝を有し、
該開放溝は、端壁(516)と、1対の対向する側壁とを有し、
前記側壁の各々は、該側壁から延びるアーム(524)を有し、
前記端部パネルの各々は、前記リセプタクル内に前記ランプ組立体を安定化させるために前記アームに係合する側縁を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のソケット組立体。
