Claims (8)
- 液体と気体との間の物質交換用の塔であって、上部交換プレート(3a)とその下方に間隔をあけて配置された下部交換プレート(3b)とからなる少なくとも一つの交換プレート対と、上部交換プレート側から下部交換プレート側へ液体を流下させるためのドレン管(4)と、ドレン管(4)の下端の下方に配置された枡状の流下液集合ピット(9)とを備え、流下液集合ピットの底部(14)が下部交換プレート(3b)の表面(5b)よりも下位に位置するものにおいて、流下液集合ピット(9)が、その上部開口が塔の垂直軸心方向に見てドレン管(4)の下端開口面積(16)の一部の面積部分(15)にのみ重なるように配設され、尚且つ前記ドレン管の下端が前記下部交換プレートの前記表面よりも上方で開口していることを特徴とする物質交換塔。
- ドレン管(4)の下端が下部交換プレート(3b)の表面(5b)よりも上方で開口して前記流下液集合ピットがそれ自体で静圧液体シールを形成しないようにしてあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の物質交換塔。
- 流下液集合ピット(9)の上部開口が、ドレン管(4)の下端開口面積(16)の20%〜60%の面積部分に対してのみ対面開口していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の物質交換塔。
- 流下液集合ピット(9)の下部交換プレート(3b)側の上縁部に流入堰(10)が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の交換塔。
- 下部交換プレートがドレン堰(7)を備え、流入堰(10)の高さがドレン堰(7)の高さ以下であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の物質交換塔。
- 下部交換プレートがドレン堰(7)を備え、流入堰(10)の高さがドレン堰(7)の高さの50%以下の寸法でドレン堰(7)よりも高く形成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の物質交換塔。
- ドレン管(4)が下向きに先細形状となっていることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の物質交換塔。
- ドレン管(4)の先細部分の少なくとも一部が、該ドレン管(4)の下部交換プレート側の壁(17)を塔の垂直軸心に対して斜めに配置することによって形成されていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の物質交換塔。
