言い換えると、R1>R2であるので、関数は0°から90°と180°から270°で単調減少であり90°から180°と270°から360°で単調増加である。f(α)の選択には、数多くの関数が利用可能であることは明らかであろう。最も好適な関数f(α)は、本発明のレンズによって球面状波面に変換することができる、レンズ上に入射する波面の知見のみによって決定することができる。f(α)のための数多くの数学的アプローチは一般的に、最適な関数f(α)を決定するためにテストされるべきである。

Claims (7)
- 円環状屈折レンズ表面を備えた乱視性屈折異常の補正用の眼内レンズであって、上記円環状屈折レンズ表面のある経線における切断カーブは、下記数式のいずれかで表される非球面で描かれ、
ここで、各変数は以下の通りであり、
x:レンズ軸方向に存在する第1座標軸
y:第1主経線の方向に存在する第2座標軸
R α :ある経線における上記レンズの頂点における半径またはパラメータ
asp α :上記経線での非球面性
cj:多項式係数
上記経線のそれぞれにおいて、関連するR α は、第1主経線における円環状屈折性レンズ表面の曲率半径R1および第2主経線における円環状屈折性レンズ表面の曲率半径R2に関する関数の値であり、
上記経線のそれぞれにおいて、関連するasp α は、上記円環状屈折レンズ表面の第1主経線における第1非球面性asp1および第2主経線における第2非球面性asp2に関する関数の値であり、asp1とasp2は異なる値であり、
上記第1主経線と角度αをなす経線において、関連するR α および関連するasp α は角度αの関数として定義されることを特徴とする眼内レンズ。 - 外部から入射する平面波は、角膜の乱視性屈折表面において屈折し、上記屈折波は、前記眼内レンズに入射して上記眼内レンズにより屈折が矯正された球面波とされるものであり、
前記角度αの関数は、上記屈折波から上記球面波への必要とされる波面の変換によって決定されるものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の眼内レンズ。 - 前記眼内レンズは、円環状屈折前面および円環状屈折後面の両方を有することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の眼内レンズ。
- 前記前面および前記後面は、凸状であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の眼内レンズ。
- 円柱状の作用は、前記前面および前記後面に実質的に均一に分配されることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の眼内レンズ。
- 前記レンズ軸に平行な平面にて、前記円環状屈折レンズ表面の両方の主経線における切断カーブは、それぞれ非球面を描くことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の眼内レンズ。
- 前記眼内レンズは、介在する角が90°ではない二つの主経線を有する円環状屈折レンズ表面を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の眼内レンズ。
