Description
この発明の好ましい実施例は、加圧タンクをシールするためのシールシステムに向けられている。
この発明は、水素駆動車両および地上に置かれた貯蔵タンクなど、さまざまな用途で使用できる、水素貯蔵タンクのような加圧貯蔵タンクのシールのためのシールシステムに向けられている。このシールシステムは、内燃機関(ICE)および燃料電池の用途で使用される、クァンタム・フュール・システムズ・テクノロジーズ・ワールドワイド社(Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, Inc)が現在製造している35および70MPa水素貯蔵タンクを含む、種々の異なるタイプの加圧タンクと併用できる。このばねで加圧されたシールシステムは、最大10,000psi以上の内容物を収容するタンクを効果的にシールする。
図1から図5は、この発明の好ましい実施例に従う、ばねで加圧されたタンクシールシステムのさまざまな例証を示す。
Claims (4)
- 貯蔵タンクをシールするためのシールシステムであって、前記シールシステムは、
バルブ体と、
ボス部材とを含み、前記バルブ体は前記ボス部材内に固定可能であり、さらに
ばね加圧部材を含み、前記ばね加圧部材は、前記ボス部材内に固定可能であり、かつ、前記バルブ体を囲み、さらに
前記ばね加圧部材と前記ボス部材との間に配置される非結合ライナーと、
ボス−ライナー外部放射状シールとを含み、
前記ボス−ライナー外部放射状シールは、前記ボス部材の内側の溝の中において、前記ボス部材と、前記非結合ライナーとの間に配置され、前記ボス−ライナー外部放射状シールは、前記バルブ体の軸に対して径方向にシールするように機能し、
前記ばね加圧部材は、前記非結合ライナーが前記ボス−ライナー外部放射状シールと常に接触することを保証するように構成される、シールシステム。 - バルブ体放射状シールをさらに含み、前記バルブ体放射状シールは、前記ボス−ライナー外部放射状シールを収納する前記溝とは別の、前記ボス部材の内側に設けられた他の溝の中に、前記ボス−ライナー外部放射状シールに対して平行に配置される、請求項1に記載のシールシステム。
- 貯蔵タンクをシールするための取外し可能なシールシステムであって、前記取外し可能なシールシステムは、
バルブ体と、
ボス部材と、
シール保持部とを含み、前記シール保持部は前記ボス部材内に配置され、前記バルブ体はシール保持部内に固定可能であり、さらに
ばね加圧部材を含み、前記ばね加圧部材は、前記ボス部材内に固定可能であり、かつ、前記バルブ体を囲み、さらに
前記ばね加圧部材と前記ボス部材との間に配置される非結合ライナーと、
ボス−ライナー外部放射状シールとを含み、前記ボス−ライナー外部放射状シールは、前記ボス部材の内側の溝の中において、前記ボス部材と、前記非結合ライナーとの間に配置され、前記ボス−ライナー外部放射状シールは、前記バルブ体の軸に対して径方向にシールするように機能し、
前記ばね加圧部材は、前記非結合ライナーが前記ボス−ライナー外部放射状シールと常に接触することを保証するように構成される、取外し可能なシールシステム。 - バルブ体放射状シールをさらに含み、前記バルブ体放射状シールは、前記ボス−ライナー外部放射状シールを収納する前記溝とは別の、前記ボス部材の内側に設けられた他の
