Claims (21)
- 可食性基体上に印刷するためのシステムにおいて、
10kHzまたはそれより高いサイクル数でジェット射出するように構成されたインクジェットプリントヘッドを有する圧電式インクジェットプリンタ、及び
ポリシロキサンを含む界面活性剤を含有し、該界面活性剤により調節された20ダイン/cm〜約40ダイン/cmの表面張力を有する、可食性基体上に印刷するための可食性でない液体、
を有し、
前記可食性でない液体の硬化後、前記可食性でない液体による印刷後に前記可食性基体が可食性のままでいることを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記表面張力が26ダイン/cm〜36ダイン/cmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記表面張力が28ダイン/cm〜32ダイン/cmであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のシステム。
- 前記液体が5cP〜25cPの粘度を有することを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記液体が10cP〜約14cPの粘度を有することを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記液体が水を含有することを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記ポリシロキサンが、エーテル変性ポリジメチルシロキサン、ポリエーテル変性ポリジメチルシロキサン、ヒドロキシ機能性ポリジメチルシロキサン、エステル変性ポリジメチルシロキサン、ポリエステル変性ポリジメチルシロキサン、ポリジメチルシロキサン、オクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサン、フェニルシロキサン、ジメチコーン、シルセスキオキサン、シリコーンワックス、アルキルメチルシロキサン、ジメチコーンコポリオール及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記ポリシロキサンがエーテル変性ポリジメチルシロキサンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記液体中の前記界面活性剤の濃度が2g/リットル〜40g/リットルであることを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記インクジェットプリントヘッドがポンプチャンバを有し、前記ポンプチャンバの少なくとも一部が、金属、炭素またはシリコンで形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記プリントヘッドがノズル開口を有し、前記ノズル開口が金属、炭素またはシリコンに画成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から10のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記プリントヘッドが50μmまたはそれより小さいノズル開口を有することを特徴とする請求項1から11のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記プリントヘッドが100dpiまたはそれより高い解像度を有することを特徴とする請求項1から12のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記プリントヘッドが50℃またはそれより高いジェット射出温度において動作することを特徴とする請求項1から13のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 可食性基体上に印刷する方法において、前記方法が、
インクジェットプリンタを提供する工程、
約36ダイン/cmより高い表面張力を有する前駆液体を得る工程、
可食性基体に施すに適する低表面張力の可食性でない液体を得るために少なくとも10%は前記表面張力を低下させるため、前記前駆液体にポリシロキサンを含む、十分な量の、界面活性剤を加える工程であって、前記可食性でない液体の硬化後、前記可食性でない液体による印刷後に前記可食性基体が可食性のままである工程、及び
前記可食性基体上に前記低表面張力液体をジェット射出する工程、
を有してなることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記液体の前記表面張力が28ダイン/cm〜32ダイン/cmになるまで前記加える工程を反復する工程をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記表面張力が少なくとも25%低下されることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記インクジェットプリンタが圧電式インクジェットプリンタであることを特徴とする請求項15から17のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記インクジェットプリンタが約10kHzまたはそれより高いサイクル数でジェット射出するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項15から18のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリシロキサンがエーテル変性ポリジメチルシロキサンを含むことを特徴とする請求項15から19のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 可食性基体上に印刷するためのシステムにおいて、
圧電式インクジェットプリンタ、及び
ポリシロキサンを含む界面活性剤を含有し、20ダイン/cm〜約40ダイン/cmの表面張力を有する、可食性基体上に印刷するための可食性でない液体であって、該流体中の前記界面活性剤の濃度が約2g/リットル〜約40g/リットルである流体、
を有し、
前記可食性でない液体の硬化後、前記可食性でない液体による印刷後に前記可食性基体が可食性のままである、ことを特徴とするシステム。
