点b´は、条件(b´=1/2・a)を満たす半楕円17によってY軸上に画定され、
点b″は、条件(b″=7/8・a)を満たす半楕円16によってY軸上に画定される。
而して0<t<π(0−180°)の角度範囲における湾曲したばね2の外形は、X軸とY軸を有する直交座標系において、等式x=a・cos t及びy=b・sin tで定義され、以下の条件を満たす楕円と一致する。
ここで、
aは、楕円の長軸の二分の一であり、
bは、楕円の短軸の二分の一である。
b=(2/3)aである。
本発明の車両用タイヤの第1及び第2の実施形態の両方では、図3で第1の実施形態に関して示したように、車両用タイヤの肩部1.2は、因子(factor)k = 2a/100・5mmだけ車両用タイヤ1のビード部1.4より幅広であることができ、このとき、ビード1.4の間の距離は、1つのビードを覆っているゴム層の厚さの2倍に2aを加えたものに等しい。
この車両用タイヤが内部圧力を有さず、而して走行特性を低下させるような空気の抜けが無いことによる、パンク時の総合的な安全性。
タイヤ空気圧の監視/制御が不要であり、スペアタイヤの必要が無い。
本発明による車両用タイヤの製造の要求エネルギーは、従来型のタイヤに比べて一般的に低い。その結果、環境被害が少ない。
以上、本発明の好適な実施形態を示し、説明してきたが、当業者には自明のように、本発明の精神から逸脱すること無く、これらに変更及び修正を加えることができ、本発明の範囲は、特許請求の範囲に定義されている。
Claims (18)
- 車両用非空気式タイヤであって、
a.弾性材料からなる本体であって、走行面を形成する円周方向に延びるクラウン部と、前記クラウン部に接続され且つ円周方向に延びる第1及び第2の側壁とを備え、前記第1及び第2の側壁は、それぞれ、車輪のリムのフランジ内に固定されるように、円周方向に延びる第1及び第2のビードで終端している、本体と、
b.放射状に延び且つ円周方向に間隔を空けて配置され、少なくとも部分的に前記本体の前記クラウン部と前記第1及び第2の側壁の中に埋め込まれる、複数の複合曲線ばねであって、前記複合曲線ばねの各々は前記本体の前記第1のビード内に埋め込まれた第1端と前記本体の前記第2のビード内に埋め込まれた第2端とを有し、略S字型の第1側壁と略逆S字型の第2側壁を含んでいる複合曲線ばねと、を備え、前記ばねの各々の前記側壁は、それぞれ、前記タイヤの半径方向の面に対して凸型の上側側壁部と、前記タイヤの前記半径方向の面に対して凹型の下側側壁部とを含んでいる非空気式タイヤ。 - 円周方向に延びるベルトを更に備え、前記ベルトは、前記複数の複合曲線ばねの半径方向外側に該複数の複合曲線ばねを囲んで配置されている、請求項1に記載の非空気式タイヤ。
- 前記ベルトは、鋼から形成されている、請求項2に記載の非空気式タイヤ。
- 前記ベルトは、繊維補強布から形成されている、請求項2に記載の非空気式タイヤ。
- 前記ばねは、複合材料から形成されている、請求項1に記載の非空気式タイヤ。
- 前記ばねの前記複合材料は、熱可塑性基質とガラス繊維補強材との複合材料である、請求項5に記載の非空気式タイヤ。
- 前記複合曲線ばねは、鋼からなる、請求項1に記載の非空気式タイヤ。
- 前記ばねの各々は、前記車輪の前記リムに対して凸型の上部を含んでいる、請求項1に記載の非空気式タイヤ。
- 前記ばねの各々の前記第1端及び第2端は、概ね水平方向軸線に沿って配置されるように平坦である、請求項1に記載の非空気式タイヤ。
- 円周方向に延びる弾性材料から形成されている緩衝材を更に備え、前記緩衝材は前記車輪の前記リムと係合し、且つ前記タイヤの前記本体によって包囲されている、請求項1に記載の非空気式タイヤ。
- 前記複合曲線ばねの表面は、前記タイヤの前記本体に対する前記ばねの接着性を高めるように処理されている、請求項1に記載の非空気式タイヤ。
- 車両用非空気式タイヤであって、
a.弾性材料からなる本体であって、走行面を形成する円周方向に延びるクラウン部と、前記クラウン部に接続され且つ円周方向に延びる第1及び第2の側壁とを備え、前記第1及び第2の側壁は、それぞれ、車輪のリムと係合するための、円周方向に延びる第1及び第2のビードで終端している、本体と、
b.放射状に延び且つ円周方向に間隔を空けて配置され、少なくとも部分的に前記タイヤの前記本体の前記クラウン部と前記第1及び第2の側壁の中に埋め込まれる複合材料からなる複数の複合曲線ばねであって、前記複数の複合曲線ばねの各々は前記本体の前記第1のビード内に埋め込まれた第1端と前記本体の前記第2のビード内に埋め込まれた第2端とを有し、略S字型の第1側壁と略逆S字型の第2側壁を含んでいる複数の複合曲線ばねと、を備え、前記ばねの各々の前記側壁は、それぞれ、前記タイヤの半径方向の面に対して凸型の上側側壁部と、前記タイヤの前記半径方向の面に対して凹型の下側側壁部とを含んでいる非空気式タイヤ。 - 円周方向に延びるベルトを更に含んでおり、前記ベルトは、前記複数の曲線ばねの半径方向外側に該複数の曲線ばねを囲んで配置されている、請求項12に記載の非空気式タイヤ。
- 前記ベルトは、鋼から形成されている、請求項13に記載の非空気式タイヤ。
- 前記ベルトは、繊維補強布から形成されている、請求項13に記載の非空気式タイヤ。
- 前記ばねの前記複合材料は、熱可塑性基質とガラス繊維補強材との複合材料である、請求項12に記載の非空気式タイヤ。
- 前記複合材料は、ガラス、ケブラー(KEVLAR)(登録商標)/トワロン(TWARON)(登録商標)、ザイロン(ZYLON)(登録商標)、カーボンファイバー、又はスペクトラ(SPECTRA)(登録商標)/ダイニ−マ(DYNEEMA)(登録商標)又は融解石英からなる群から選択される補強材料を有する熱硬化性基質である、請求項12に記載の非空気式タイヤ。
- 円周方向に延びる弾性材料から形成されている緩衝材を更に備えており、前記緩衝材は、前記車輪の前記リムと係合し、且つ前記タイヤの前記本体によって包囲されている、請求項12に記載の非空気式タイヤ。
