Description
(a)アプリケータと、(b)第1の電極及び第2の電極と、(c)RF生成器と、を備えており、
少なくとも第1の電極は、アプリケータに組み合わされており、

(a)第1の電極及び第2の電極を皮膚表面に当てること、及び
(b)前記位置の組織部分へ、電極から、連続波RFエネルギー又は準連続波RFエネルギーを供給すること、
を備えており、
少なくとも第1の電極が、皮膚の前記領域内の前記位置に当てられ、
RFエネルギーが、前記位置の組織部分を0.5秒を超える時間で最終温度へ加熱するように選択された出力を、有している。
・2〜10ワットの範囲のRF出力
・CW又は準CWであるエネルギー供給モード
・0.2〜10MHzの範囲のRF周波数
・400〜1800nmの範囲の光エネルギースペクトル
・1〜20ワット/cm2の範囲の光エネルギー出力
Claims (14)
- 個人の皮膚表面の下の組織部分を初期温度から42〜60℃の範囲の所定の処置温度へ加熱するためのシステムであって、
(a)アプリケータと、(b)第1及び第2の電極と、(c)RF生成器と、(d)光源と、を備えており、
第1及び第2の電極は、アプリケータに組み合わされており、複数の連続する組織部分上の皮膚表面に沿って、選択された移動速度で、移動されるようになっており、
RF生成器は、第1及び第2の電極に渡って連続波RF電圧エネルギー又は準連続波RF電圧を供給するように、構成されており、RF電圧は、電極が皮膚表面に当てられたときに、0.5秒を超える時間で組織部分を処置温度へ加熱するように、選択されており、
光源は、皮膚表面へ光エネルギーを向けるように、構成されており、
複数の連続する組織部分上の皮膚表面に沿った、第1及び第2の電極の選択された移動速度が、式V=P/(LdcρΔT)によって与えられ、
Pは連続RF電流の出力であり、Lは電極の間隔であり、dはRFエネルギーの進入深さであり、cは処置される組織の比熱であり、ρは組織の質量密度であり、ΔTは必要とされる温度上昇である、ことを特徴とするシステム。 - 第1及び第2の電極が、アプリケータに組み合わされている、請求項1記載のシステム。
- RF電圧が、2〜10Wの範囲の出力を有している、請求項2記載のシステム。
- RF電圧が、0.2〜10MHzの範囲の周波数を有している、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 光エネルギーが、400〜1800nmの範囲のスペクトルを有している、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 光エネルギーが、1〜10Wの範囲のエネルギー出力を有している、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 光源が、白熱電球、ガス入り電球、LED、及びレーザから、選択されている、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 1つ以上のインピーダンス測定に基づいて皮膚内の熱分配を判断するように構成されたプロセッサ、を更に備えている、請求項1記載のシステム。
- プロセッサが、皮膚の温度が所定の温度を下回っている場合に知覚可能な信号を生成するように、構成されており、その所定の温度が、42〜60℃の範囲である、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 知覚可能な信号が、第1のピッチで警報を鳴らすことである、請求項9記載のシステム。
- プロセッサが、皮膚の温度が所定の温度を上回っている場合に知覚可能な信号を生成するように、構成されている、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 知覚可能な信号が、第2のピッチで警報を鳴らすことである、請求項11記載のシステム。
- 初期温度が、通常の体温である、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 選択された移動速度が、皮膚を初期温度から所定の温度へ加熱するように選択されており、その所定の温度が、42〜60℃の範囲である、請求項1記載のシステム。
