Description
Claims (6)
- 第1端、第2端、及び前記第1端と第2端の間に、隣接する襞同士がランドによって分離される複数の襞を有する均質な単一片から形成された金属製のカップリングであって、
各襞は、
前記襞の外側平坦部分に当該カップリングの軸線に相対して配置された、材料厚が均一である円筒形状の先端部分と、
前記円筒形状の先端部分から前記ランドに向かって延伸し、外壁と放射方向内壁とを有する襞アームであって、前記放射方向内壁は、当該カップリングの軸線に対して直交する、襞アームと、
前記ランドと前記襞アームとの間に位置する根本部分であって、曲面接続外側根本表面と面取内側根本表面とを含み、前記面取内側根本表面は、前記襞アームの前記放射方向内壁と、放射方向において前記ランドより外側で交わり、また、前記ランドの放射方向における最も内側の表面と、軸線方向において前記円筒形状の先端部分より外側で交わる、根本部分と、
備え、
各襞の部材の肉厚は、当該カップリングの軸線からの放射方向距離が長くなるにつれて、連続的に減少し、
前記襞アームと前記円筒形状の先端部分との間の襞の丸みをおびた部分の肉厚は、均一であり、
隣接する襞の間の距離である襞間距離は、各隣接襞間において等しく、かつ前記第1端または前記第2端と、前記複数の襞のうちこれらの最も近くにある襞との間の距離よりも小さく、
各襞は同一の襞断面外形を有し、各襞の襞断面外形は、前記第1端と前記第2端とが有する同一の先端外形とは異なり、
前記第1端と前記第2端の外径が、襞の先端部分の外径より小さく、
前記第1端と前記第2端とが、当該第1端と当該第2端のそれぞれの軸方向端面と径方向において内側の端面とが交わる部分で先の尖った角を有し、
前記第1端と前記第2端とが、前記第1端と前記複数の襞のうち最も近くの襞との間のランド、及び前記第2端と前記複数の襞のうち最も近くの襞との間のランドに配置された、軸線を含む断面において曲線形状である湾曲端部を含む外表面を有し、当該湾曲端部は、前記複数の襞の各々の曲面接続外側根本表面よりも軸方向及び放射方向において大きい寸法を有する、
カップリング。 - 請求項1記載のカップリングであって、その内法が円筒状であるカップリング。
- 請求項1に記載のカップリングであって、前記第1端および前記第2端に連結部が設けられた、カップリング。
- 請求項3に記載のカップリングであって、前記連結部がフランジである、カップリング。
- 請求項1に記載のカップリングであって、チタン、耐食鋼、高力鋼、ニッケル系素材、炭素鋼及びマルエイジング鋼並びにそれらのうち少なくとも一種類を含む合成素材のうち、何れかの素材によって形成されたカップリング。
- 請求項1に記載のカップリングであって、窒化により疲労耐性及び耐摩耗性を向上させたカップリング。
