Description
まず、従来技術における炭素還元法としては、抵抗炉を用いて、輻射熱によりCr含有有価金属含有副産物に炭素を混合した試料を加熱する方法、すなわち、試料を外側から加熱する方法が用いられている。この炭素還元法では、800〜1300℃の温度において、以下の(1)〜(3)式の還元反応が進行する。
2Fe2O3(s)+3C(s)=4Fe(s)+3CO2(g) (1)
2NiO(s)+C(s)=2Ni(s)+CO2(g) (2)
2Cr2O3(s)+3C(s)=4Cr(s)+3CO2(g) (3)
表1に示した比率の製鋼ダスト、酸洗スラッジ及びスケール材からなるCrを含有する有価金属含有副産物に、表1に示した炭素当量となるように、グラファイト粉末を混合し、これを直径10mm、高さ30mmの石英管に装入した。次いで、周波数2.45GHzの単一モード(TE105)マイクロ波キャビティー内に石英管を載置し、窒素ガス1気圧の雰囲気中において、表1に示したマイクロ波出力及び操業温度で20分間加熱し、有価金属を還元した。なお、Cr含有量については、化学分析により分析を行い、操業温度については、被覆型熱電対(K−Type)を石英管に接触させて測温した。
Claims (4)
- Cr酸化物を含有する有価金属含有副産物を炭素当量が0.5〜5となるように炭材と混合し、単一モードマイクロ波キャビティー又は制御された多重モードマイクロ波キャビティー内において、900〜1100℃、電場強度が100V/m以上、3.5×10 5 V/m以下の条件で、出力が0.5〜20kWのマイクロ波照射により前記Cr酸化物をCrに還元処理することを特徴とするCr酸化物を含有する有価金属含有副産物のマイクロ波加熱炭素還元法。
- 前記マイクロ波は、周波数が0.5〜30GHzであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のCr酸化物を含有する有価金属含有副産物のマイクロ波加熱炭素還元法。
- 前記Cr酸化物を含有する有価金属含有副産物は、ステンレス鋼製造工程にて発生する製鋼ダスト、酸洗中和スラッジおよびスケール材の少なくとも一種であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のCr酸化物を含有する有価金属含有副産物のマイクロ波加熱炭素還元法。
- 前記Cr酸化物を含有する有価金属含有副産物は、Cr酸化物が0.5〜50mass%含まれることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のCr酸化物を含有する有価金属含有副産物のマイクロ波加熱炭素還元法。
