度指数L*、クロマティクネス指数a*およびb*がそれぞれ83.2以上85.1以下,−0.2
以上0.2以下および−0.3以上2.3以下であることを特徴とするものである。
ける明度指数L*が83.2以上85.1以下であり、クロマティクネス指数a*およびb*がそれぞれ−0.2以上0.2以下および−0.3以上2.3以下であることにより、装飾部品として加工して肉厚を薄くしたとしても、この装飾部品を通して内部が透けて装飾的価値を損なうことなく清潔感溢れる白色を呈することによって、所有者に視覚を通じて高級感,美的満足感および精神的安らぎを与えることができる。
数L*が83.2以上85.1以下であり、クロマティクネス指数a*およびb*がそれぞれ−0.2以上0.2以下および−0.3以上2.3以下であることが重要である。
神的安らぎ等を与えられる白色セラミックスが得られることを突き止めた。
ませて、表面のCIE1976L*a*b*色空間における明度指数L*が83.2以上85.1以下、クロマティクネス指数a*およびb*がそれぞれ−0.2以上0.2以下および−0.3以上2.3以下とすることによって、装飾部品として加工して肉厚を薄くしたとしても、この肉厚を薄く加工した装飾部品を通して内部が透けて装飾的価値を損なうことなく所有者に視覚を通じて高級感,美的満足感および精神的安らぎを与えられる、清潔感溢れる白色を呈する白色セラミックスとすることができるのである。
ロマティクネス指数a*の値が0.2より大きいと色調が赤色を帯びてピンク色に近い色と
なり、いずれも白色とは言い難くなるとともに高級感が損なわれるため、好ましくない。
調が黄色を帯びて薄黄色となり、クロマティクネス指数b*の値が2.3より大きいと色調
が青色を帯びて水色に近い色となり、いずれも白色とは言い難くなるとともに高級感が損なわれるため、好ましくない。
l2O3)と化合物を形成しやすく、理由は明らかではないが、この化合物の形成によって透明性を低下させることができると考えられる。従って、本発明の白色セラミックスを装飾部品として加工して肉厚を薄くしたとしても、装飾部品を通して内部が透けて見えることがなく、その色調が高級感を損なうおそれが少ない。

Claims (16)
- 安定化剤および着色剤を含むジルコニアセラミックスからなり、前記着色剤の主成分として酸化アルミニウム(Al2O3)を、副成分として鉄(Fe)を25ppm〜100ppm含み、表面のCIE1976L*a*b*色空間における明度指数L*が83.2以上85.1以下であり、クロマティクネス指数a*およびb*がそれぞれ−0.2以上0.2以下および−0.3以上2.3以下であることを特徴とする白色セラミックス。
- 1.0mmの厚みにおける可視光線の光透過率が20%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の白色セラミックス。
- 1.0mmの厚みにおける波長が580nm以上740nm以下の可視光線の光透過率が15%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の白色セラミックス。
- 前記安定化剤の含有量が前記ジルコニアセラミックスに対して1mol%以上3mol%未満であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の白色セラミックス。
- 前記安定化剤がイットリウム(Y)を含む化合物であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の白色セラミックス。
- 前記着色剤の含有量が0.3質量%以上5.0質量%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の白色セラミックス。
- 見掛け密度が5.9g/cm3以上6.1g/cm3以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の白色セラミックス。
- 表面における開気孔の最大径が10μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の白色セラミックス。
- 表面における開気孔の占有面積率が1%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の白色セラミックス。
- 請求項1に記載の白色セラミックスからなることを特徴とする時計用装飾部品。
- 請求項1に記載の白色セラミックスからなることを特徴とする携帯端末機用装飾部品。
- 請求項1に記載の白色セラミックスからなることを特徴とする生活用品用装飾部品。
- 請求項1に記載の白色セラミックスからなることを特徴とする車両用品用装飾部品。
