Description
さらなる利用分野として断熱壁の被覆加工、及び機材の絶縁及び衝撃吸収梱包としての用途がある。架橋メラミン樹脂の高い硬度のため、フォーム材は研磨クリーニング、研磨及び磨き様スポンジ用としても利用できる。スポンジは特別なクリーニング作業のために疎水及び疎油処理を施すこともできる。今まで、市場に提供されたメラミン/ホルムアルデヒドフォーム材と比較して、特に低いホルムアルデヒド放出量のため、本発明によるフォーム材は衛生部門、例えば薄い不織布の形態で外傷用包帯、おしめ及び失禁用製品の一部として利用することもできる。
110℃での加熱の後、フォーム材はDIN55666による測定で、0.08ppmのホルムアルデヒドを放出する。フォーム材は熱成形性であり、ホルムアルデヒド放出量は禁止化学物質の規制制限値を下回る。
実施例1を、尿素を加えないで、繰り返した。110℃での加熱の後、フォーム材はDIN55666による測定で0.42ppmのホルムアルデヒドを放出する。フォーム材は熱成形性であるが、ホルムアルデヒド放出量は禁止化学物質の規制制限値を上回る。
Claims (6)
- メラミン/ホルムアルデヒド(MF)予備縮合物、硬化剤および発泡剤を含む混合物の発泡及び架橋とともに加熱することによるフォーム材の製造方法であって、加熱前にホルムアルデヒド捕捉剤として尿素をメラミン/ホルムアルデヒド(MF)予備縮合物を基準として2〜10質量%で添加し、当該フォーム材のホルムアルデヒド放出量が、DIN55666による測定で、0.1ppm以下であることを特徴とする製造方法。
- 混合物を、55〜85質量%のメラミン/ホルムアルデヒド(MF)予備縮合物を含む水溶液又は分散液の形態で使用することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 予備縮合物のメラミン/ホルムアルデヒドのモル比が1:1.3〜1:4であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 硬化剤をメラミン/ホルムアルデヒド(MF)予備縮合物を基準として0.01〜20質量%で使用することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 0〜80℃の沸点を有する物理的発泡剤をメラミン/ホルムアルデヒド(MF)予備縮合物を基準として1〜40質量%で使用することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 発泡及び架橋の後、フォーム材を100〜160℃の範囲の温度で加熱することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
