しかも、薄膜のカーカス層の端末からの重なり幅をカーカス層の内外両面においてそれぞれ5〜15mmにしたので、良好な空気透過防止機能を発揮させることができる。
さらに、本発明では、後述するように、コード補強層6の両端部についても薄膜5により内外両面に跨って包み込むように覆うと共に、薄膜5のカーカス層2の端末からの重なり幅をカーカス層2の内外両面においてそれぞれ5〜15mmに設定している。
さらに、本発明では、薄膜5のカーカス層2の端末からの重なり幅をカーカス層2の内外両面においてそれぞれ5〜15mmに設定したので、一層良好な空気透過防止機能を発揮させることができる。
各タイヤをリム(サイズ:22.5”×7.50”)に装着し、空気圧700kPaを充填して、室内ドラム試験機(ドラム径:1707mm)を用いて、負荷荷重を53.44kN、走行速度を45km/hとして、ビード部が破壊するまでの走行距離を測定し、その結果を従来タイヤを100とする指数により表1に併記した。この数値が大きいほど耐久性が優れていることを示す。

Claims (4)
- 左右一対のビード部間にカーカス層を装架し、該カーカス層の両端部をそれぞれビードコアの廻りにタイヤ内側から外側へ折り返すと共に、前記ビード部における前記カーカス層の折り返し部に沿ってコード補強層を配置した空気入りタイヤにおいて、
前記カーカス層の折り返し両端部及び前記コード補強層の両端部をそれぞれ熱可塑性樹脂または熱可塑性樹脂中にエラストマーをブレンドした熱可塑性エラストマー組成物からなる厚さが5〜150μmの薄膜により前記カーカス層及びコード補強層の内外両面に跨って包み込むように覆うと共に、該薄膜の前記カーカス層の端末からの重なり幅を前記カーカス層の内外両面においてそれぞれ5〜15mmとしたことを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記薄膜の空気透過率が(1.5〜3.0)×10-11 cc・cm/cm2 ・sec・cmHgである請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記薄膜にゴム層を重ねて積層体にした請求項1または2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記薄膜の前記コード補強層の端末からの重なり幅が前記コード補強層の内外両面においてそれぞれ5〜15mmである請求項1、2または3に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
