本発明の意味における「実質的に硼素酸化物を含まない」という表現は、組成物が少量の硼素酸化物を不純物として含んでもよいことを意味すると理解されねばならない。これらは、特に、繊維状廃棄物のようなある原料により導入される不純物であり得る。一般的には、本発明によるミネラルウール組成物は、0.5%未満、好ましくは、0.3%未満の硼素酸化物を含み、より好ましくは、更に、ミネラルウールの分野で通常使用される分析技術により検出することのできる量では、硼素酸化物を含まない。
−繊維化温度に対応する、「Tlog3」により示され、摂氏温度で表現される、103ポワズの粘度に対応する温度;
−「Tliq」により示され、摂氏温度で表現される液状化温度;
−「DGG」により示される溶解値「DDG」:この方法によれば、360〜400ミクロンの粒径を有するガラス粉末は、5時間還流下加熱された水に浸漬される。急速冷却後、混合物はろ過され、ろ液に含まれる固形物が測定される。溶解値「DDG」は、処理されたガラス10グラムにつきミリグラムで表現された溶解した材料の量を表す;
−「kSiO2」により示される中性媒体中での溶解速度(「生溶解性」)は、溶液へのNaHCO3(2.7g/l)の添加と組み合わせて、N2/CO2(90/10)混合物の直接通気により実行される、pH7.4で緩衝された静止塩水溶液中で7日間放置された直径10ミクロンを有する繊維の溶解速度を表わす。塩水溶液は、pH緩衝剤に加えて、塩化ナトリウムとクエン酸ナトリウムを、夫々6.6g/lと0.15g/lの濃度で含み、エッチング溶液に晒されるガラスの体積に対する表面積の比は、0.5cm−1である。ng/cm2.hで表現されたこの溶解速度は、単位繊維表面積と単位時間あたり溶解したガラスの量を表現している。
Claims (17)
- ミネラルウールであって、そのガラス繊維が、実質的に硼素酸化物を含まない化学組成を有し、重量割合として表現される以下に定義された範囲内の次の構成成分を含む、ミネラルウール。
SiO2 60〜75
Al2O3 0〜4
Na2O 17.5〜22
CaO 5〜15
Fe2O3 0〜2
P2O5 0〜3 - その繊維の化学組成は、しかも、重量割合として表現される以下に定義された範囲内の次の構成成分を含むような、請求項1記載のミネラルウール。
MgO 0〜5
SrO 0〜6 - シリカ(SiO2)の含有量が、62%以上及び/又は68%以下である、請求項1又は2記載のミネラルウール。
- アルミナ(Al2O3)の含有量が、3%以下及び/又は0.5%以上である、請求項1〜3何れか1項記載のミネラルウール。
- アルミナ(Al2O3)の含有量が、2%以下及び/又は0.5%以上である、請求項1〜3何れか1項記載のミネラルウール。
- シリカとアルミナの合計(SiO2+Al2O3)の含有量が、70%以下である、請求項1〜5何れか1項記載のミネラルウール。
- シリカとアルミナの合計(SiO2+Al2O3)の含有量が、67%以下である、請求項1〜5何れか1項記載のミネラルウール。
- 「SiO2+2Al2O3−2P2O5」の量が、含有量をモル割合で表現して、68%以下である、請求項1〜7何れか1項記載のミネラルウール。
- 「SiO2+2Al2O3−2P2O5」の量が、含有量をモル割合で表現して、66%以下である、請求項1〜7何れか1項記載のミネラルウール。
- 酸化ナトリウム(Na2O)の含有量が、18%以上である、請求項1〜9何れか1項記載のミネラルウール。
- 酸化ナトリウム(Na2O)の含有量が、19%以上である、請求項1〜9何れか1項記載のミネラルウール。
- 酸化カルシウム(CaO)の含有量が、6%以上及び/又は13%以下である、請求項1〜11何れか1項記載のミネラルウール。
- Na2O/CaOの比が、2以上である、請求項1〜12何れか1項記載のミネラルウール。
- Na2O/CaOの比が、2.2以上である、請求項1〜12何れか1項記載のミネラルウール。
- 酸化マグネシウム(MgO)の含有量が、1%以上及び/又は5%以下である、請求項1〜14何れか1項記載のミネラルウール。
- 酸化鉄(Fe2O3)の含有量が、0.5%以下である、請求項1〜15何れか1項記載の方法のミネラルウール。
- 熱及び/又は音響絶縁材料若しくは水耕栽培のための基質としての、請求項1〜16何れか1項記載のミネラルウールの使用。
