Description
対象物を識別する装置であって、
RFIDタグが通信する周波数を検出する周波数検出部と、
検出した前記周波数に少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記対象物を判別する対象識別部と
を有する装置である。
上記の周波数パターンは、1つのRFIDタグが第1周波数で送信していることが発見されたこと、2つのRFIDタグが第2周波数で送信していることが発見されたこと、1つのRFIDタグが第3周波数で送信していることが発見されたこと、2つのRFIDタグが第4周波数で送信していることが発見されたこと、1つのRFIDタグが第5周波数で送信していることが発見されたことを示す。検出された周波数及びRFIDタグの数を含む例を単に示しているが、周波数パターン生成部116は、検出した周波数に加えて、1つ以上のRFIDタグの固有の識別子及び/又は情報(コンテンツ)をも含むパターンを生成できることが、理解されるであろう。
対象物2=(1f4,1f5,1f6)及び
対象物3=(1f1,1f3,1f5)。
Claims (8)
- 複数のRFIDタグを有する対象物を識別する装置であって、前記複数のRFIDタグの各々は、情報を格納し、情報を処理しかつ無線周波数(RF)信号を変調又は復調する集積回路と、RF信号を受信及び送信するアンテナとを有し、当該装置は、
前記複数のRFIDタグにより使用されている複数の周波数を検出して周波数情報を送信する周波数検出部と、
前記周波数検出部により検出された周波数情報を受信し、受信した前記周波数情報に基づいて周波数パターンを生成する周波数パターン生成部と、
前記周波数パターン生成部により生成された前記周波数パターンを受信し、該周波数パターンと周波数パターン記憶部にある既知の周波数パターンとを比較し、受信した前記周波数パターンと前記周波数パターン記憶部にある前記既知の周波数パターンとの比較に基づいて、前記対象物を識別する識別子を出力する対象識別部と
を有する装置。 - 前記周波数パターンは、{Af1;Bf2;...Xfn}という一般形を有し、A、B、Xは、周波数fで情報を送信するRFIDタグの数を表す整数であり、nは検出された周波数の番号である、請求項1記載の装置。
- 当該装置は、前記対象物に対応するコンテキストを出力するコンテキストアナライザをさらに有し、前記対象識別部は、出力された前記コンテキストに基づいて、前記対象物の識別子を特定する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 当該装置は、前記RFIDタグにより送信された情報から前記RFIDタグの識別子を読み取るRFIDリーダを更に有し、前記対象識別部は、前記RFIDタグにより送信された情報から読み取った前記RFIDタグの識別子に基づいて前記対象物を識別する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 当該装置は、前記RFIDタグにより送信された情報から前記RFIDタグのメモリの情報を読み取るRFIDリーダを更に有し、前記対象識別部は、前記RFIDタグのメモリの情報に基づいて前記対象物を識別する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 複数のRFIDタグを有する対象物を識別するために識別装置が実行する方法であって、前記複数のRFIDタグの各々は、情報を格納し、情報を処理しかつ無線周波数(RF)信号を変調又は復調する集積回路と、RF信号を受信及び送信するアンテナとを有し、当該方法は、
周波数検出部が、前記複数のRFIDタグにより使用されている複数の周波数を検出して周波数情報を送信するステップと、
周波数パターン生成部が、情報を送信する前記複数のRFIDタグにより使用されている検出された複数の周波数に基づいて、周波数パターンを生成するステップと、
対象識別部が、生成された前記周波数パターンと周波数パターン記憶部にある既知の周波数パターンとを比較し、該比較に少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記対象物を識別するステップと
を有する方法。 - 前記周波数検出部が、ある周波数範囲にわたって周波数掃引を実行することで、情報を送信する前記複数のRFIDタグにより使用されている複数の周波数を検出する、請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記複数のRFIDタグが、スペクトルアジル無線(SARA)プロトコルに従って動作するように設計されている、請求項6記載の方法。
