Claims (13)
- 略円筒形の構造体を有し体腔内に配置される薬剤溶出ステント(130)であって、
中央ルーメン(348)を有する管状ストラット(138)であって、前記中央ルーメンは前記管状ストラットの内側表面によって規定され、前記ステントの前記略円筒形の構造体に合わせた形状に形成された管状ストラットと、
実質的に前記管状ストラットの近位端部(132)から遠位端部(134)におよぶ該管状ストラットの長さに沿って該管状ストラット(138)の外周を取り囲んでらせん状様態で形成されたチャンネル(136)であって、前記管状ストラット(138)の前記内側表面(342)と外側表面(344)との間で延びる深さを有し、前記中央ルーメンと流体連通する前記らせん状チャンネル(136)と、
前記らせん状チャンネル(136)を介して身体血管へと送達されるように前記管状ストラット(138)の前記中央ルーメン(348)内に配置された治療用物質と、備えている、
ことを特徴とする薬剤溶出ステント。 - 前記管状ストラットは、前記ステントの前記略円筒形の構造体を形成するコイル部分を有する、
請求項1に記載の薬剤溶出ステント。 - 前記チャンネル(136)は前記管状ストラット(138)の前記コイル部分に沿って変化する幅(346)を有し、前記チャンネル(136)の幅は、前記ステントの第1の位置よりも前記ステントの第2の位置において大きくなっている、
請求項1又は2に記載の薬剤溶出ステント。 - 前記チャンネル(136)はレーザーによって形成され、前記レーザーの焦点を制御することにより前記幅(346)を変化させられている、
請求項3に記載の薬剤溶出ステント。 - 前記第1の位置は、前記ステントの前記略円筒形の構造体の巻き部(450)である、
請求項3に記載の薬剤溶出ステント。 - 前記チャンネル(136)のピッチ(240)は、前記ステントの第2の位置においてよりも前記ステントの第1の位置において小さくなるように、前記管状ストラット(138)の前記コイル部分に沿って変化している、
請求項1又は2に記載の薬剤溶出ステント。 - 前記第1の位置は、前記ステントの前記略円筒形の構造体の巻き部(450)である、

中央ルーメンを有する管状ストラット(638a、638b、638c)であって、前記中央ルーメンは前記管状ストラットの内側表面によって規定され、前記ステントの前記略円筒形の構造体を形成する波状またはジグザグリング構成に形成されている管状ストラットと、
実質的に前記管状ストラット(638a、638b、638c)の近位端部から遠位端部におよぶ該管状ストラット(638a、638b、638c)の長さに沿って該管状ストラットの外周を取り囲んでらせん状様態で形成されたチャンネル(636)であって、前記管状ストラット(638a、638b、638c)の前記内側表面と外側表面との間で延びる深さを有し、前記中央ルーメンと流体連通しているチャンネル(636)と、
前記らせん状チャンネルを介して身体血管へと送達されるように前記管状ストラットの前記中央ルーメン内に配置された治療用物質と、を備えている、
ことを特徴とする薬剤溶出ステント。
