Description
本出願は、2009年3月31日に提出されてその全内容が参照によってこの明細書の中に組み入れられている米国特許出願第12/415,724号の優先権を主張するものである。
本発明は、血管内超音波イメージングシステム、および該システムの製造および使用方法の分野に関する。また、本発明は、カテーテル内の遠位に配置されるイメージングコアを含み、そのイメージングコアが回転可能なモータを含む、血管内超音波システム、ならびに該イメージングコア、モータおよび血管内超音波システムの製造方法に関する。
Claims (15)
- 血管内超音波システムのためのカテーテルアセンブリであって、前記カテーテルアセンブリは、
長手部分、遠位端、および近位端を有し、前記長手部分に沿って前記近位端から前記遠位端まで延出する内腔を備えるカテーテルと、
前記カテーテルの前記長手部分よりも短い長手部分を備え、前記内腔の中へ前記カテーテルの遠位端まで挿入するために構成されかつ配置されているイメージングコアであって、
回転可能な磁石と、この磁石の少なくとも一部の周りに配置された少なくとも2つの磁界巻線とを備えるモータであって、前記磁石が、長手方向軸と、前記磁石の前記長手方向軸に沿って画定された開口とを有するモータと、
該イメージングコアの中に配置され、印加された電気信号を音響信号へ変換するために、また、受信したエコー信号を電気信号へ変換するために、構成されかつ配置され、さらに、前記磁石とともに回転しないように定位置に固定されている少なくとも1つの変換器と、
前記少なくとも1つの変換器の遠位に位置決めされたミラーであって、該ミラーは、音響ビームが前記少なくとも1つの変換器から該ミラーまで放射されたときに、その音響ビームが前記磁石の前記長手方向軸に対して平行でない方向に方向を変えるような角度で傾けられているとともに、前記磁石の回転によって回転するミラーと、
を備えるイメージングコアと、
前記1つ以上の変換器に電気的に接続されているとともに、前記カテーテルの前記近位端まで延出している少なくとも1つのカテーテル導体と、
前記磁界巻線に電気的に接続されているとともに、前記カテーテルの前記近位端まで延出している少なくとも1つのモータ導体と、
を備えてなり、
前記少なくとも1つの変換器は、前記磁石の中に画定された前記開口の中に配置されている、カテーテルアセンブリ。 - 前記磁界巻線のそれぞれは、導電性材料からなる単一巻回を備える、請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ミラーは非平面状の反射面を備える、請求項1または2に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記少なくとも1つの変換器は複数の環帯を備え、少なくとも1つの環帯が、少なくとも1つの他の環帯とは異なる周波数で共振するように構成されかつ配置されている、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ミラーは、前記磁石の中に画定された前記開口の中に配置されている、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記磁石は、前記少なくとも1つの変換器から放射され、かつ、前記ミラーから方向を変えられた音響信号を送信する切欠を画定している、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記少なくとも1つの変換器および前記ミラーは、流体で満たされた領域の中に配置されている、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記磁石は、強磁性流体によって少なくとも部分的に取り囲まれている、請求項7に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 血管内超音波システムのためのカテーテルアセンブリであって、前記カテーテルアセンブリは、
長手部分、遠位端、および近位端を有し、前記長手部分に沿って前記近位端から前記遠位端まで延出する内腔を備えるカテーテルと、
前記カテーテルの前記長手部分よりも短い長手部分があり、前記内腔の中へ前記カテーテルの遠位端まで挿入するために構成されかつ配置されているイメージングコアであって、
ハウジングの中に遠位端キャップとともに配置され、回転可能なモータ磁石と、このモータ磁石の少なくとも一部の周りに配置された少なくとも2つの磁界巻線とを備えるモータであって、前記磁石が、長手方向軸と、前記モータ磁石の前記長手方向軸に沿って配置されたモータ軸とを有するモータと、
該イメージングコアの中に配置され、印加された電気信号を音響信号へ変換するために、また、受信したエコー信号を電気信号へ変換するために、構成されかつ配置され、さらに、前記モータ磁石とともに回転しないように定位置に固定されている少なくとも1つの変換器と、
反射面とミラー磁石とを含む方向を変えるためのミラーであって、該ミラーは、前記少なくとも1つの変換器の近位に位置決めされ、前記反射面は、音響ビームが前記少なくとも1つの変換器から前記反射面まで放射されたときに、その音響ビームが前記モータ磁石の前記長手方向軸に対して平行でない方向に方向を変えるような角度で傾斜しており、前記ミラー磁石および前記モータ磁石は、前記モータ磁石の回転が該ミラーを回転させるように、前記端キャップ内で磁気的に連結されている、方向を変えるためのミラーと、
を備えるイメージングコアと、
前記少なくとも1つの変換器に電気的に接続されているとともに、前記カテーテルの前記近位端まで延出している少なくとも1つの変換器導体と、
前記磁界巻線に電気的に接続されているとともに、前記カテーテルの前記近位端まで延出している少なくとも1つのモータ導体と、
を備えてなる、カテーテルアセンブリ。 - 前記少なくとも1つの変換器は、変換器軸を介して前記端キャップへ連結されている、請求項9に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記イメージングコアは、このイメージングコアの近位端に配置された支持ハブをさらに備える、請求項9または10に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記モータ軸は、前記支持ハブから前記端キャップまで延出している、請求項11に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ハウジングは、少なくとも部分的に真空排気されている、請求項9から12のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 血管内超音波システムのためのカテーテルアセンブリであって、前記カテーテルアセンブリは、
長手部分、遠位端、および近位端を有し、前記長手部分に沿って前記近位端から前記遠位端まで延出する内腔を備えるカテーテルと、
前記カテーテルの前記長手部分よりも短い長手部分があり、前記内腔の中へ前記カテーテルの遠位端まで挿入するために構成されかつ配置されているイメージングコアであって、
ハウジングの中に遠位端キャップとともに配置され、回転可能な磁石と、この磁石の少なくとも一部の周りに配置された少なくとも2つの磁界巻線とを備えるモータであって、前記磁石がそれに沿って回転する長手方向軸を有するモータと、
該イメージングコアの中に配置された回転可能な少なくとも1つの変換器であって、該少なくとも1つの変換器は変換器磁石を備え、該少なくとも1つの変換器は、印加された電気信号を音響信号へ変換するために、また、受信したエコー信号を電気信号へ変換するために、構成されかつ配置され、さらに、前記変換器磁石および前記モータの磁石は、前記モータの磁石の回転が該少なくとも1つの変換器を前記モータの磁石とともに回転させるように、前記端キャップ内で磁気的に連結されている、回転可能な少なくとも1つの変換器と、
前記少なくとも1つの変換器と電気的に接続された変圧器と、
を備えるイメージングコアと、
前記変圧器と電気的に接続されているとともに、前記カテーテルの前記近位端まで延出している少なくとも1つの変換器導体と、
前記磁界巻線と電気的に接続されているとともに、前記カテーテルの前記近位端まで延出している少なくとも1つのモータ導体と、
を備えてなる、カテーテルアセンブリ。 - 前記変圧器は、静止構成要素と、この静止構成要素から間隔をおいて配置された回転構成要素とを備え、前記静止構成要素は前記端キャップの中に配置され、前記回転構成要素は前記少なくとも1つの変換器の中に配置されている、請求項14に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
