Description
Claims (11)
- 電子デバイスのアンテナ構造であって、
接地面を含む導電性アンテナ構造と、
前記導電性アンテナ構造の第1の部分と前記接地面との間に結合された周波数従属インピ−ダンスを有する少なくとも1つの電気素子とを備え、
第1の通信帯域では、前記導電性アンテナ構造と前記少なくとも1つの電気素子とが前記第1の通信帯域に適応する閉スロットアンテナモ−ドで動作可能なように、前記少なくとも1つの電気素子が第1のインピ−ダンスを示し、第2の通信帯域では、前記導電性アンテナ構造と前記少なくとも1つの電気素子とが前記第2の通信帯域に適応する逆F形アンテナモ−ドで動作可能であるように、前記少なくとも1つの電気素子が前記第1のインピ−ダンスより高い第2のインピ−ダンスを示すように、前記導電性アンテナ構造と前記少なくとも1つの電気素子とは構成され、
前記少なくとも1つの電気素子はコンデンサとインダクタが並列接続された共振回路を含んでおり、
前記閉スロットアンテナモードで動作する場合に、前記導電性アンテナ構造と前記少なくとも1つの電気素子とが、前記導電性アンテナ構造の前記第1の部分と前記接地面との間に形成された開口を完全に取り囲みかつ包み込み、
前記電子デバイスは、4つの縁部と、長さと、前記長さよりも短い幅と、前記幅より短い高さを持ち、前記導電性アンテナ構造の前記第1の部分は、前記電子デバイスを取り囲むために、前記電子デバイスの前記高さにわたり前記4つの縁部のそれぞれに沿って延びる周囲導電性の電子デバイス筐体構造の一部を形成し、
2つのアンテナが、前記電子デバイスの相対する端部に前記周囲導電性の電子デバイス筐体構造から形成されており且つそれぞれのアンテナはそれぞれにアンテナ給電端子を備えている
ことを特徴とするアンテナ構造。 - 前記導電性アンテナ構造と前記少なくとも1つの電気素子とは、前記少なくとも1つの電気素子が前記第2のインピ−ダンスを示す場合に、逆F形アンテナを形成するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のアンテナ構造。
- 前記導電性アンテナ構造と前記少なくとも1つの電気素子とは、前記少なくとも1つの電気素子が前記第1のインピ−ダンスを示す場合に閉スロットアンテナを形成するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項2記載のアンテナ構造。
- 前記導電性アンテナ構造と前記少なくとも1つの電気素子とは、前記少なくとも1つの電気素子が前記第1のインピ−ダンスを示す場合に閉スロットアンテナを形成するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のアンテナ構造。
- 前記電気素子は、前記周囲導電性の電子デバイス筐体構造の間隙を架橋することを特徴とする請求項1記載のアンテナ構造。
- 4つの周辺縁部が平らな表面を有する電子デバイスであって、
無線周波数信号を送受信する無線周波数トランシ−バ回路と、
前記無線周波数トランシ−バ回路に結合されたアンテナ構造と、
前記アンテナ構造に結合された第1と第2の共振回路とを備え、
前記アンテナ構造と前記第1と第2の共振回路とは、前記第1の共振回路が第1のインピ−ダンスを示す第1の動作周波数では閉スロットアンテナモ−ドで動作するように構成され、前記第1の共振回路が前記第1のインピ−ダンスより大きい第2のインピ−ダンスを示す第2の動作周波数では逆F形アンテナモ−ドで動作するように構成され、前記アンテナ構造と前記第1の共振回路とは、前記閉スロットアンテナモードで動作するときには開口を完全に取り囲み且つ包み込み、そして、前記第1と第2の共振回路は受動素子のみを含み、
前記無線周波数トランシーバ回路がその内部に取り付けられる長方形の筐体を備え、前記長方形の筐体は、前記電子デバイスを取り囲むために、前記電子デバイスの4つの周辺縁部のそれぞれにわたって延びる周囲導電性筐体部材の少なくとも一つを含み、前記アンテナ構造の少なくともある部分は前記電子デバイスの前記周辺縁部の上に前記周囲導電性筐体部材の一部分から形成されており、
2つのアンテナが、前記電子デバイスの相対する端部に前記周囲導電性の電子デバイス筐体構造から形成されており且つそれぞれのアンテナはそれぞれにアンテナ給電端子を備えている
ことを特徴とする電子デバイス。 - 前記第2の共振回路は、前記アンテナ構造が逆F形アンテナモードで動作するときは、第3のインピーダンスを示し、また、前記アンテナ構造が前記閉スロットアンテナモードで動作するときは、前記第3のインピーダンスよりも低い第4のインピーダンスを示す、ことを特徴とする請求項6記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記第2の共振回路は、前記アンテナ構造が前記逆F形アンテナモードで動作するときは、ある所与のインピーダンスを示し、また、前記アンテナ構造が前記閉スロットアンテナモードで動作するときは、前記所与のインピーダンスを示す、ことを特徴とする請求項6記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記第1の周波数は前記第2の周波数より高く、前記無線周波数トランシ−バ回路は携帯電話トランシ−バを備えることを特徴とする請求項6記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記逆F形アンテナの接地平面の少なくとも一部を形成する導電性内部構造を更に備え、前記逆F形アンテナは、少なくとも一部が前記周囲導電性筐体部材から形成された主アンテナ共振素子分枝を含み、スイッチが閉成されると前記導電性内部構造と前記主アンテナ共振素子分枝との間に電気経路を形成することを特徴とする請求項9記載の電子デバイス。
- 電子デバイスの4つの側面を周囲導電性の筐体構造が取り囲む、前記電子デバイスにおいて、調整可能アンテナシステムに結合された無線周波数トランシーバ回路を使用して無線周波数信号を送受信する方法であって、前記調整可能アンテナシステムは、導電性アンテナ構造と、接地面と、受動素子のみを有する少なくとも第1と第2の共振回路とを含み、前記導電性アンテナ構造の少なくともある部分は前記周囲導電性の筐体構造から形成されており、前記調整可能アンテナシステムは前記電子デバイスの相対する端部に前記周囲導電性の筐体構造から形成される2つのアンテナを含み且つそれぞれのアンテナはそれぞれにアンテナ給電端子を備えている、前記方法であって、
前記調整可能アンテナシステムが閉スロットアンテナモ−ドで動作するように、第1の通信帯域で前記第1の共振回路が第1のインピ−ダンスを示す間に、前記第1の通信帯域において前記無線周波数トランシ−バ回路と前記調整可能アンテナシステムとによって無線周波数信号を送受信するステップであって、前記導電性アンテナ構造と前記第1の共振回路とは前記閉スロットアンテナモードにおいて前記接地面と前記導電性アンテナ構造との間に形成された開口を完全に取り囲み且つ包み込む、前記送受信するステップと、
前記調整可能アンテナシステムが逆F形アンテナモ−ドで動作するように、第2の通信帯域で前記第1の共振回路が前記第1のインピ−ダンスより大きい第2のインピ−ダンスを示す間に、前記第2の通信帯域において前記無線周波数トランシ−バ回路と前記調整可能アンテナシステムとによって無線周波数信号を送受信するステップと、
を備え、
前記導電性アンテナ構造が前記逆F形アンテナモードで動作するときは、前記第2の共振回路が第3のインピーダンスを示し、前記導電性アンテナ構造が閉スロットアンテナモードで動作するときは、前記第2の共振回路が前記第3のインピーダンスよりも低い第4のインピーダンスを示す、
ことを特徴とする方法。
