Description
本実施形態のエンコーダ100は、光源50から照射され回転ディスク20および透遮光部材40の光学パターン30を透過した光を光検出部60にて受光し、デジタルデータとして検出する透過型のエンコーダである。また、本実施形態のエンコーダ100は、回転ディスク20の回転中心に設けられた磁石70の磁気パターンを磁気検出部80にてデジタルデータとして検出する。そして演算部90が、光検出部60のデジタルデータに基づいて、磁気検出部80のデジタルデータを補正することにより、検出精度の良いエンコーダ100を提供できるようになる。
再び図1を参照して、本実施形態のエンコーダ100の動作について説明する。

Claims (8)
- 回転方向に透光部と遮光部とを交互に有するグレイコード光学パターンが径方向に複数形成された回転ディスクと、
前記回転ディスクの各グレイコード光学パターンに対峙する透光部と遮光部とを有する光学パターンが形成された透遮光部材と、
前記回転ディスクのグレイコード光学パターンおよび前記透遮光部材の光学パターンに光を照射する光源と、
前記回転ディスクおよび前記透遮光部材の透光部を通過した光を受光し前記回転ディスクの回転位置に応じたデジタルデータを出力する光検出部と、
前記回転ディスクの回転中心部に設けられ、磁極の配置により磁気パターンを形成する磁石と、
前記磁気パターンを検出し前記回転ディスクの回転位置に応じたデジタルデータを出力する磁気検出部と、
前記磁気検出部および前記光検出部のデジタルデータを用いて前記回転ディスクの回転角度を求める演算部と、を有し、
前記光検出部は、前記回転ディスクの回転中において、該回転ディスクおよび前記透遮光部材の透光部を通過した光を受光して正弦波のアナログデータを出力し、
前記演算部は、前記光検出部から出力されるアナログデータを参照して検出誤差を補正し、前記回転ディスクの回転角度を求めることを特徴とするエンコーダ。 - 前記透遮光部材は、前記回転ディスクのディスク面と間隔を空けて対向された固定マスクであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンコーダ。
- 前記透遮光部材は、前記光検出部に一体的に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンコーダ。
- 前記演算部は、前記光検出部のデジタルデータに基づいて、前記磁気検出部のデジタルデータを補正することを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載のエンコーダ。
- 前記光検出部は分割された受光部を有し、各受光部は前記回転ディスクの一回転における周期が異なる複数のビット/回転のグレイコードのデジタルデータを出力し、
前記磁気検出部はデジタルデータを出力することを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載のエンコーダ。 - 前記演算部は、前記各検出部のデジタルデータを比較して、前記回転ディスクの回転角度の検出誤差を補正することを特徴とする請求項5に記載のエンコーダ。
- 前記演算部は、前記磁気検出部の1回転データをカウントすることにより、前記回転ディスクの回転数を求めることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載のエンコーダ。
- 前記演算部は、正弦波アナログデータに基づいて桁上げ判定もしくは桁下げ判定して、前記回転ディスクの回転数を求めることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンコーダ。
