Description
樹脂層及び金属層を有するラミネートシートの電池ケースに、正極/分離膜/負極構造の電極組立体が、電池ケースの外部に突出した電極端子に連結された状態で内蔵されている電池セルであって、前記電極組立体は、
集電体に電極活物質を含む合剤がそれぞれ塗布されている正極と負極との間に分離膜が挟持されており、
電極組立体の外周面に対応する電池ケースの内側面の少なくとも一部は、垂直断面上、上に向かって幅が広くなる上向き傾斜構造又は下に向かって幅が広くなる下向き傾斜構造となっており、
前記電池ケースの内側面に対応して電極組立体の外周面も上向き傾斜構造又は下向き傾斜構造になっている。
前記極性体は、前記分離膜を挟んで正極と負極が互いに対面するように、平面を基準にして高さ方向に積層されているスタック型/フォルディング型の構造であってもよい。

Claims (12)
- 樹脂層及び金属層を有するラミネートシートの電池ケースに、分離膜/正極/分離膜/負極/分離膜構造の電極組立体が、電池ケースの外部に突出した電極端子と連結された状態で内蔵されている電池セルであって、
前記電極組立体は、
集電体に電極活物質を含む合剤がそれぞれ塗布されている正極と負極との間に分離膜が挟持されており、
電極組立体の外周面に対応する電池ケースの内側面は、垂直断面上、上に向かって幅が広くなる上向き傾斜構造又は下に向かって幅が広くなる下向き傾斜構造になっており、
前記電池ケースの内側面に対応して電極組立体の外周面も電極の長さ又は幅の増加による上向き傾斜構造又は下向き傾斜構造になっており、
前記電極組立体の傾斜面は、最上端又は最下端の分離膜で覆われることを特徴とする、電池セル。 - 前記電池ケースの内側面は、下向き傾斜構造になっており、前記電極組立体の外周面は、下向き傾斜構造になっていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電極組立体の垂直断面が台形になっていることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電池セルは、平面上、長方形になっており、4面のうち、電極端子の位置する面以外の面において電池ケースの内側面が上向き傾斜構造又は下向き傾斜構造になっていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電極端子は、前記4面のいずれか1面にのみ設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の電池セル。
- 前記正極は、集電体としてアルミニウム箔に正極合剤がコートされており、前記負極は、集電体としてアルミニウム以外の金属箔に負極合剤がコートされていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電池ケースは、アルミニウムラミネートシートのパウチ形ケースからなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電極組立体は、一つのシート状の正極と一つのシート状の負極との間に分離膜が挟持された状態で巻き取られており、正極集電体の端部及び負極集電体の端部にそれぞれ電極端子が結合されているジェリーロール型の構造になっていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電極組立体は、2つ以上の正極と2つ以上の負極が分離膜を挟持した状態で積層されており、正極及び負極集電体からそれぞれ突出した2つ以上の電極タブが一つの電極端子に結合されているスタック型の構造になっていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電極組立体は、正極板、負極板、最上端及び最下端の極板が正極であるスタック型の電極組立体、及び最上端及び最下端の極板が負極であるスタック型の電極組立体からなる群から選ばれる2つ以上の極性体と、前記極性体の積層面及び側面を覆っているシート状の分離膜と、を備え、
前記極性体は、前記シート状の分離膜を挟んで正極及び負極が互いに対面するように、平面を基準にして高さ方向に積層されているスタック型/フォルディング型の構造になっていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。 - 前記電池セルは、リチウムイオン二次電池又はリチウムイオンポリマー二次電池であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 請求項1乃至11のいずれかによる電池セルを単位電池として含んでいる電池モジュール。
