Description
(a)銅成分が摩擦材に添加されていると、相手材表面に形成される銅の移着被膜と摩擦材表面との銅成分の凝着摩耗が支配的となるため相手材の摩耗粉は発生しにくいが、銅成分を排除すると、摩擦材に含まれる研削系の無機摩擦調整材によるアブレシブ摩耗が支配的となり、相手材の摩耗粉が発生しやすくなる。そして、相手材の摩耗粉により摩擦材の表面も研削されるため、摩擦材の摩耗粉の発生が促進される。
pH調整材は、摩擦材組成物全量に対して1〜5重量%とするのが好ましく、2〜4重量%とするのがより好ましい。
表1、表2に示す組成の摩擦材組成物をレディゲミキサーにて5分間混合し、成型金型内で30MPaにて10秒間加圧して予備成型をした。この予備成型物を、予め洗浄、表面処理、接着材を塗布した鋼鉄製のバックプレート上に重ね、熱成型型内で成型温度150℃、成型圧力40MPaの条件下で10分間成型した後、200℃で5時間熱処理(後硬化)を行い、研磨して摩擦面を形成し、乗用車用ディスクブレーキパッドを作製した(実施例1〜20、比較例1〜8)。
Claims (3)
- ディスクブレーキパッドに使用される、銅成分を含まないNAO材の摩擦材組成物を成型した摩擦材において、前記摩擦材組成物は、鉄、鉄合金、鉄化合物を原料として添加せず、チタン酸塩として、非ウィスカー状のチタン酸塩を摩擦材組成物全量に対し15〜25重量%と、無機摩擦調整材として、平均粒子径が1.0〜4.0μmの酸化ジルコニウムを摩擦材組成物全量に対し15〜25重量%と、無機摩擦調整材として劈開性鉱物粒子を摩擦材組成物全量に対し4〜6重量%含むことを特徴とする摩擦材。
- 前記非ウィスカー状のチタン酸塩が不定形状のチタン酸カリウムであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記摩擦材組成物は、炭素質系潤滑材として、薄片状黒鉛粒子を摩擦材組成物全量に対し2〜4重量%含むことを特徴する請求項1または請求項2に記載の摩擦材。
