Description
楕円または楕円状の螺旋の楕円率は各々、角膜面の形状に依存し得る。楕円率は、楕円の長軸および短軸の比率であると理解される。
図1は、患者の眼1を治療するためのレーザ手術機器を示しており、前記レーザ手術機器2は屈折率補正を行うのに役立つ。この目的のために、機器2は治療レーザビーム3を患者の眼1に出射し、患者の頭は頭保持部4に固定されている。レーザ手術機器2は、米国特許第6,110,166号で開示された方法を実行可能なパルスレーザビーム3を生成することができる。
物質の除去は対物望遠鏡6によって、角膜5内に位置する焦点7に高エネルギーのパルスレーザビーム3を集束させることで、角膜内の組織層を分離することにより行われる。パルスレーザ光3の各パルスは組織内に光学的穿孔を生成し、前記穿孔がプラズマ気泡8を生じさせる。その結果、組織層の分離は、レーザ光3の焦点7より広い領域をカバーする。レーザビーム3を適切に偏向させると、治療中に多くのプラズマ気泡8が連続的に配置される。それから、連続的に配置されたプラズマ気泡8が切り込み9を形成し、間質の部分的な塊T、つまり角膜5から取り除かれる物質を取り囲む。
平面のコンタクトレンズは数学的境界線の場合を表し、輪郭線走査の概念はここでは経路線の縮退をもたらすが、経路線は閉じているとみなすこともできる。応用の点ではより意味がある湾曲したコンタクトレンズの場合は、楕円率はコンタクトレンズの曲率に依存することとなる。さらに、多くの場合、楕円率は処理フィールド全体で一定ではないが半径方向依存性を示す。
ただし、コンタクトレンズ面の形状が球面では記述できないが、例えば放物面等の異なる空間領域関数に従う場合、上記の変換と同様に変換法則を与えることができ、前記法則は同一の物理概念に従う。
Claims (4)
- 角膜(5)内に切り込み(9)を形成するための装置であって、
角膜(5)内にレーザ光を集束して角膜(5)内に光学的穿孔(8)を生成するレーザ光源(S)と、
コンタクトレンズ(21)であって、該コンタクトレンズ(21)の内面(22)を角膜(5)の表面に加圧することにより、角膜(5)を該コンタクトレンズ(21)の該内面(22)の曲率に一致する所定の球面曲率に変形させる前記コンタクトレンズ(21)と、
焦点を三次元的に変位する走査ユニット(6、10)と、
角膜(5)に一連の光学的穿孔(8)を生成することにより切り込み(9)が形成されるように前記走査ユニット(6、10)を制御する制御ユニット(2)とを備え、
前記走査ユニット(6、10)は、焦点を第1の空間方向に沿って変位させる調整可能な光学素子を含み、
前記制御ユニット(2)は、前記コンタクトレンズ(21)の影響による角膜(5)の変形後の前記所定の球面曲率に基づいて焦点を変位させる経路線を計算し、計算された前記経路線に従って前記走査ユニット(6、10)を制御する、装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置であって、
前記制御ユニット(2)は、以下の式
に従う座標変換による変形に基づいて前記走査ユニット(6、10)を制御し、
α、φ、Rは、角膜(5)の変形前の球面座標であり、α’、φ’、R’は、変形状態の角膜(5)に対する球面座標であり、RCVは、非変形状態の角膜(5)の表面の曲率半径であり、RGは、前記コンタクトレンズ(21)の曲率半径であることを特徴とする装置。 - コンタクトレンズ(21)の内面(22)を角膜(5)の表面に加圧することにより、角膜(5)を該コンタクトレンズ(21)の該内面(22)の曲率に一致する所定の球面曲率に変形させ、角膜(5)内にレーザ光を集束して角膜(5)内に光学的穿孔(8)を生成することにより角膜(5)内に切り込み(9)を形成する装置を動作させるための方法であって、
角膜(5)に一連の光学的穿孔(8)を生成することにより切り込み(9)が形成されるように制御ユニット(2)が、走査ユニット(6、10)を制御して焦点を三次元的に変位させることを含み、
前記変位させることは、前記制御ユニット(2)が、前記コンタクトレンズ(21)の影響による角膜(5)の変形後の前記所定の球面曲率に基づいて焦点を変位させる経路線を計算し、計算された前記経路線に従って前記走査ユニット(6、10)を制御することを含む、方法。 - 請求項3に記載の方法であって、
前記制御ユニット(2)は、以下の式
に従う座標変換による変形に基づいて前記走査ユニット(6、10)を制御し、
α、φ、Rは、角膜(5)の変形前の球面座標であり、α’、φ’、R’は、変形状態の角膜(5)に対する球面座標であり、RCVは、非変形状態の角膜(5)の表面の曲率半径であり、RGは、前記コンタクトレンズ(21)の曲率半径であることを特徴とする方法。
