Description
本出願は、2010年10月27日に出願されたRobert Friggの「BoneImplant」なる名称の米国仮出願第61/407,231号に基づく優先権を主張する。その開示内容全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
a)長骨の軸に対して傾斜して、長骨にあるガイドワイヤを配置し、長骨幹断片を通り、骨端断片内を貫通するステップと、
b)球状型ヘッド部または骨固着部を収容するため、長骨の側面から長骨に穿孔をあけ、その結果、挿入時、球状型ヘッド部または骨固着部は、所望の位置で骨端骨断片に回転中心を提供し、穿孔は、ドリルビットを誘導するためのガイドワイヤを使用して、あけられ得るステップと、
c)球状型ヘッド片または骨固着部が骨端骨断片の所望の回転中心を提供する限りは、穿孔内に骨端固定部を挿入するステップと、を含む。
Claims (14)
- 長骨の骨端断片から長骨幹断片が分離する骨端骨折を治療する固定装置であって、
第1端から第2端まで、中心に沿って縦に延在し、骨インプラント開口部に滑動可能に接合するよう構成され、最大半径rを有するシャフトと、
前記シャフトの前記第1端に取り付けられ、半径R>rを有する球状型ヘッド部とを備え、
前記骨端断片が、前記シャフトの中心軸に対して前記球状型ヘッド部を中心に回転するように、前記球状型ヘッド部が、前記骨端断片に挿入されるよう構成されている固定装置。 - 近位端から遠位端まで縦に延在し、前記シャフトを滑動可能に受容する管腔を含むスリーブをさらに備え、
前記スリーブの近位端は、前記スリーブを前記骨インプラント開口部に旋回可能に接合するジョイントを含み、前記ジョイントは可塑的に変形自在な接続部及びカルダンジョイントのうち1つで形成される請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記球状型ヘッド部は、第1部分及び第2部分を備え、前記第1及び第2部分は、互いに対し拡張可能である請求項1〜2のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記シャフトの前記第1端に可動的に接合され、前記球状型ヘッド部の直径よりも大きな直径を有する骨固着部を備え、
前記骨固着部は、前記シャフトの前記中心軸に対して前記第1端を中心に回転可能であり、前記骨端断片に挿入される際、前記骨端断片を接合する構造を含む請求項1に記載の固定装置。 - 前記骨固着部は、ボールソケット型ジョイントを介して前記シャフトの前記第1端に接合され、
前記骨固着部は、回転可能な手段で、前記シャフトの前記第1端にて前記球状型ヘッド部を受け、前記半径Rを有する球状型の空洞を含む請求項4に記載の装置。 - 近位端から遠位端まで縦に延在し、前記シャフトを滑動可能に受容する管腔を含むスリーブをさらに備え、
前記近位端は、前記スリーブを前記骨インプラント開口部に旋回可能に接合し、ジョイントは、可塑的に変形自在な接続部及びカルダンジョイントのうち1つを含む、請求項4または5に記載の装置。 - 前記球状型ヘッド部及び前記球状型の空洞がそれぞれ、前記装置の縦軸に直交する多角形断片領域を有するように、前記球状型ヘッド部及び前記球状型の空洞は、対応する平面を有し、前記多角形断面領域は六角形である請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記骨固着部は、そこに挿入される際、前記骨に接合するため、その外面に対して延在するねじ切り、そこに挿入される際、前記骨に接合するため、そこから遠位に延在する交差ブレード及びそこに挿入される際、前記骨に接合するため、そこから遠位に延在するらせん状ブレードのうち1つを含む請求項4〜7のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 長骨の骨端断片から長骨幹断片が分離する骨端骨折を治療するシステムであって、
縦軸に沿って延在し、そこを貫通する開口部を含む伸長骨インプラントと、
骨固定装置とを備え、
骨固定装置は、
遠位端から近位端まで、中心軸に沿って延在し、前記骨インプラントの前記開口部を滑動可能に接合するよう構成される最大半径rを有するシャフトと、
前記シャフトの前記第1端に取り付けられ、半径R>rを有する球状型ヘッド部とを含み、
前記骨端断片が、前記シャフトの前記中心軸に対して前記球状型ヘッド部を中心に回転するように、前記球状型ヘッド部が、前記骨端断片に挿入されるよう構成される、システム。 - 前記骨インプラントは、骨プレート及び髄内釘のうち1つであり、前記開口部は、そこを通り横に延在する、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記骨インプラントは、スリーブであり、前記開口部は、そこに、前記シャフトの近位部分を滑動可能に受容するよう、前記縦軸に沿って延在する、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記シャフトの近位部分を滑動可能に受容するよう、そこを貫通する管腔を含むスリーブをさらに備え、
前記スリーブの近位端は、前記骨インプラント開口部に旋回可能に接合され、
前記スリーブは、可塑的に変形自在な接続部及びカルダンジョイントのうち1つを介して、前記骨インプラント開口部に接合される請求項9に記載のシステム。 - 前記球状型ヘッド部は、第1部分及び第2部分を備え、第1部分及び第2部分は互いに対し拡張可能である、請求項9、11及び12のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記シャフトの前記遠位端に、可動的に接合され、前記球状型ヘッド部の直径よりも大きな直径を有する骨固着部を含み、
前記骨固着部は、前記シャフトの前記中心軸に対して前記第1端を中心に回転可能であり、前記骨端断片に挿入される際、前記骨端断片を接合する構造を含む、
請求項9に記載のシステム。
