Description
まず、図1に基づいて、第一実施形態の車両用暖房装置20Aが搭載される車両の排気系から説明する。
以下、図4〜6に基づいて、本発明の第二実施形態に係る車両用暖房装置20Bを説明する。本発明の第二実施形態は、車室内に送風される空気を加熱する流体をエンジン10の冷却水とし、さらに廃熱回収により昇温される冷却水でエンジン10の暖機を促進させるものである。第一実施形態と同一の機能を有する構成要素については同一の符号を用い、それらの詳細な説明は省略する。

Claims (3)
- エンジンの排気通路に設けられ、該排気通路を流れる排気と流通させる前記エンジンの冷却水からなる流体との間で熱交換を行う熱交換流路と、
前記熱交換流路で昇温された流体を流通させると共に、該流体と車室内に送風される空気との間で熱交換を行うヒータコアと、
前記熱交換流路の流体出口部と前記ヒータコアの流体入口部とを接続する第1の流体流路と、
前記ヒータコアの流体出口部と前記熱交換流路の流体入口部とを接続すると共に、少なくとも一部が前記エンジンのシリンダブロック内に形成される第2の流体流路と、
前記第1の流体流路もしくは前記第2の流体流路に設けられて流体を圧送するポンプと、
前記第1の流体流路と前記シリンダブロックよりも流体上流側に位置する前記第2の流体流路とを接続して、流体の流路を前記ヒータコアから迂回させるバイパス流路と、
流体の流路を前記ヒータコアもしくは前記バイパス流路に切り替えるバイパスバルブと、を備え、
前記バイパスバルブは、前記ヒータコアに流入する流体の温度が、暖房用の熱源として空気を十分に加熱できる第2の上限閾値よりも高くなると、流体の流路を前記バイパス流路に切り替えることを特徴とする車両用暖房装置。 - 前記熱交換流路よりも排気上流側の排気通路から分岐して形成された分岐排気通路と、
前記排気通路と前記分岐排気通路との分岐部に設けられて排気の流路を切り替える流路切替バルブと、をさらに備え、
前記流路切替バルブは、前記熱交換流路で昇温された流体の温度が流体の沸騰を防ぐ第1の上限閾値以下の時は、排気の流路を前記熱交換流路が設けられた排気通路にする一方、前記熱交換流路で昇温された流体の温度が前記第1の上限閾値よりも高くなると、排気の流路を前記分岐排気通路に切り替える請求項1に記載の車両用暖房装置。 - 前記排気通路に排気を浄化する排気浄化触媒が設けられ、前記熱交換流路は該排気浄化触媒よりも排気下流側の排気通路に設けられる請求項1又は2に記載の車両用暖房装置。
