Description
1)基板上に形成された第1電極上にスペーサ(spacer)パターンを形成するステップと、
2)有機物層および第2電極を形成するステップと、
3)封止(encapsulation)薄膜を形成した後、前記封止薄膜の少なくとも一部分をエッチングして第1電極を露出させるステップと、
4)前記ステップ3)の露出した第1電極に電気的に接続された補助電極を形成するステップとを含む有機発光素子の製造方法を提供する。
前記第1電極上にスペーサ(spacer)パターンを含み、
前記第1電極に電気的に接続される補助電極を含み、
前記第2電極および補助電極の間に封止薄膜を含むことを特徴とする有機発光素子を提供する。

Claims (4)
- 基板、
前記基板上に形成された共通電極である第1電極、
前記第1電極上に形成された有機物層、
前記有機物層上に形成された個別電極である第2電極、
前記第1電極上に形成され、前記第2電極の隔壁となるスペーサ(spacer)パターン、
前記第2電極および前記有機物層を覆う封止薄膜、および
前記封止薄膜上に広がっており、前記第1電極に電気的に接続される補助電極
を含み、
前記補助電極が、スペーサとスペーサとの間の領域で前記第1電極と電気的に接続されているとともに、前記スペーサ上に存在して前記第2電極から離間した前記第2電極と同じ材料の層と電気的に接続されていることを特徴とする有機発光素子。 - 前記第1電極は、金属、金属酸化物およびこれらの合金からなる群より選択される1種以上を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記補助電極は、導電性シーラント(sealant)および金属からなる群より選択される1種以上を含むことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の有機発光素子。
- 前記有機発光素子は、照明用有機発光素子であることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項記載の有機発光素子。
