Description
すなわち、本発明は、鋼板の片面又は両面に、クロメート皮膜又はノンクロメート皮膜と、フェノール樹脂プライマー層と、ポリオール架橋フッ素ゴム層と、が、該鋼板側から順に形成されており、
該ポリオール架橋フッ素ゴム層は、フッ素ゴムと、ポリオール系架橋剤と、アミン系架橋促進剤と、シリカと、を含有するフッ素ゴム組成物を、該フェノール樹脂プライマー層に塗布し、次いで、加熱して得られるゴム層であり、該アミン系架橋促進剤が、三級アミン、又は三級アミンと酸の反応により得られる三級アミンの塩であること、
を特徴とするガスケット用素材を提供するものである。
該ポリオール架橋フッ素ゴム層は、フッ素ゴムと、ポリオール系架橋剤と、アミン系架橋促進剤と、シリカと、を含有するフッ素ゴム組成物を、該フェノール樹脂プライマー層に塗布し、加熱して得られるゴム層であり、該アミン系架橋促進剤が、三級アミン、又は三級アミンと酸の反応により得られる三級アミンの塩であること、
を特徴とするガスケット用素材である。
アルカリ脱脂したステンレス鋼板の両面に、ロールコーターで、Si、P、Al及びZrを含有し且つCrを含有しないノンクロメート皮膜形成用処理液を塗布し、塗膜を180℃で乾燥させて、ノンクロメート皮膜を形成した。次いで、ノンクロメート皮膜の上に、ノボラック型フェノール樹脂(住友ベークライト製、PR−12987)をメチルエチルケトンで溶かした液(固形分濃度5%)を塗布し、熱処理を行い、フェノール樹脂プライマー層を形成した。次いで、フェノール樹脂プライマー層の上に、表1に示すフッ素ゴム組成物をメチルエチルケトンに混合し調製したフッ素ゴム組成物液(固形分濃度30%)を、ロールコーターにて塗布し、200℃で10分間架橋加熱して、ポリオール架橋フッ素ゴム層を形成し、ガスケット用素材を得た。
作製したガスケット用素材について、以下に説明する(1)電池反応試験と(2)加熱圧縮振動試験の2つの試験により評価した。
ガスケット用素材端部のゴム層を剥離してステンレス鋼板を露出させた試料とアルミニウム板の端部を導線で結び、5%硫酸ナトリウム水溶液中に互いに接触しないように半浸漬状態で、90℃で500時間保持した。試料を取り出し、試料表面に2mm間隔の碁盤目状の切り傷を付け、100個の碁盤目を形成し、碁盤目テープ剥離試験を行い、マス目の残存数を評価した。
ガスケット用素材とシム板を積層した状態でフランジに装着し、230℃で加熱圧縮した状態で所定周波数の振動を加え、面圧を8MPaから140MPaの範囲で周期的に変動させた。試験後にフランジを開放し、シムが押し付けられていた部位について、ガスケット素材のゴム層剥離の度合いを下記の基準にて評価した。
<<評価基準>>
5点:ゴム層が流動変形・剥離していない。
4点:ゴム層が僅かに流動変形している。
3点:ゴム層が明らかに流動変形しているが、鋼板は露出してない。
2点:ゴム層の流動変形は僅かであるが、鋼板が露出している。
1点:ゴム層が明らかに流動変形しており、鋼板が露出している。
表1に試験結果を示す。実施例1〜5は、電池反応試験及び加熱圧縮振動試験において、ゴム剥離がみられなかった。一方、シリカを配合していない比較例1では、電池反応試験においてゴム剥離がみられ、また、ホスホニウム塩系架橋促進剤を使用した比較例2では、加熱圧縮振動試験においてゴム剥離がみられた。

Claims (5)
- 鋼板の片面又は両面に、クロメート皮膜又はノンクロメート皮膜と、フェノール樹脂プライマー層と、ポリオール架橋フッ素ゴム層と、が、該鋼板側から順に形成されており、
該ポリオール架橋フッ素ゴム層は、フッ素ゴムと、ポリオール系架橋剤と、アミン系架橋促進剤と、シリカと、を含有するフッ素ゴム組成物を、該フェノール樹脂プライマー層に塗布し、次いで、加熱して得られるゴム層であり、該アミン系架橋促進剤が、三級アミン、又は三級アミンと酸の反応により得られる三級アミンの塩であること、
を特徴とするガスケット用素材。 - 前記ノンクロメート皮膜は、少なくとも、Si、P、Al及びZrのうちの1種又は2種以上の原子を有する化合物を含有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のガスケット用素材。
- 前記三級アミンの酸解離定数pKaが、8.5〜14であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2いずれか1項記載のガスケット用素材。
- 前記ポリオール架橋フッ素ゴム層中のシリカ含有量が、フッ素ゴム100質量部に対して1〜200質量部であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3いずれか1項記載のガスケット用素材。
- 前記アミン系架橋促進剤が、1,8−ジアザビシクロ(5,4,0)ウンデセン−7塩又は1,5−ジアザビシクロ(4,3,0)ノネン−5塩であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4いずれか1項記載のガスケット用素材。
