Description
図1は、本発明の第1実施形態に係るレーザモジュールを示す概念図である。図1に示すように、本実施形態のレーザモジュール1は、複数の光学部20a,20b,20cと、それぞれの光学部20a,20b,20cから出射する光が入射する光ファイバ10と、を主な構成として備える。なお、図1は、上述のようにレーザモジュール1の概念図であるため、各部材の配置や形状等は実際のレーザモジュールと異なっている場合があり、また、筐体等が省略されている。
次に、本発明の第2実施形態について図5,図6を参照して詳細に説明する。なお、第1実施形態と同一又は同等の構成要素については、特に説明する場合を除き、同一の参照符号を付して重複する説明は省略する。
次に、本発明の第3実施形態について図7,図8を参照して詳細に説明する。なお、第1実施形態と同一又は同等の構成要素については、特に説明する場合を除き、同一の参照符号を付して重複する説明は省略する。

Claims (10)
- 複数のレーザ素子と、
前記複数のレーザ素子から出射する光が入射するコアを有する光ファイバと、
を備え、
前記コアの光の入射面は、少なくとも1つのレーザ素子から出射する光が入射する互いに非平行な複数の平面を有して凸状に形成され、
前記複数の平面のうち前記光ファイバの軸線に対して傾斜する傾斜面から前記コアに入射する光は、前記光ファイバの長手方向に沿った断面で見る場合に、前記傾斜面に入射する前記光の入射点を通り前記軸線に平行な線と前記傾斜面とが鋭角を成して囲む領域から伝播する
ことを特徴とするレーザモジュール。 - それぞれの前記平面から前記コアに入射した光のそれぞれの光軸は、前記軸線と平行とされることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のレーザモジュール。
- それぞれの前記平面から前記コアに入射するそれぞれの光は、少なくとも2つの前記レーザ素子から出射するそれぞれの光が集光レンズによりそれぞれの前記平面上に集光されることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のレーザモジュール。
- 前記集光レンズで集光される前のそれぞれの光はコリメート光とされ、
それぞれの前記コリメート光は、互いに平行とされる
ことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のレーザモジュール。 - 前記複数の平面の内、1つの平面は、前記軸線に対して垂直な垂直面であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のレーザモジュール。
- 前記複数の平面の内、少なくとも2つの平面がそれぞれ前記傾斜面であり、一つの傾斜面は他の一つの傾斜面を前記軸線を基準に回転させた面に一致することを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のレーザモジュール。
- 前記平面は長手方向と短手方向とを有する形状の平面であり、前記レーザ素子から出射する光は遅軸方向が前記平面の前記長手方向に一致して前記平面から前記コアに入射することを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載のレーザモジュール。
