Description
本願は、以下の出願の米国特許法第119条に基づく利益に関連しこれを主張する。すなわち、名称「System for Optimizing Patient Turning」の2011年2月2日出願米国仮特許出願第61/438,732号、名称「Methods and Devices that Enable the Sensing of Body Surface Markers for the Prevention and Treatment of Pressure Ulcers and Other Wounds」の2010年4月22日出願米国仮特許出願第61/326,664号、名称「Method and Device for Surface Pressure Monitoring」の2010年11月9日出願米国仮特許出願第61/411,647号、名称「Patient Position, Orientation, and Surface Pressure Monitoring Device」の2010年10月15日出願米国仮特許出願第61/393,364号、及び名称「Sensing System that Automatically Identifies and Tracks Body Surface Markers to Allow for the Delivery of Targeted Therapy」の2010年8月12日出願米国仮特許出願第61/373,260号である。上記出願すべては本明細書にすべての目的のために参照として組み入れられる。

・心拍数(HR)が所定しきい値よりも高い場合、
・HRが急変する場合にHRが所定しきい値よりも低い場合、
・HRが不規則である場合、
・加速度の大きさが所定しきい値よりも高いか又は低い場合、
・加速度の大きさが急変するか又は所定しきい値よりも高い速度にある場合、
・加速度センサにより検知される心拍数が電気信号センサにより検知される心拍数と異なる場合である。
これは、心臓からの電気信号が存在するが機械的な心臓の鼓動が存在しないか又は不規則である心室細動の場合に重要となり得る。当該場合に加速度計データは、EKGデータのための信号検知器がセンサ300の外部又は内部のいずれかに存在するとき、EKGデータと対比することができる。
・呼吸数(BR)が所定しきい値よりも高い場合、
・BRが所定しきい値よりも低い場合、
・これが急変する場合、
・これが薬物の投与と関連づけられている場合、
・これが不規則である場合、
・加速度の大きさが所定しきい値よりも高いか又は低い場合、
・加速度の大きさが急変するか又は所定しきい値よりも高い速度にある場合、
・心拍数が呼吸数よりも低い場合、
・例えばチェーンストークス呼吸のような所定の呼吸パターンの場合である。

Claims (20)
- 患者の生理学的状況をモニタリングするシステムであって、
前記患者の加速度、配向、体位及び位置を含む群から選択される少なくとも一つの患者特性を検知するべく構成されるセンサ装置であって、前記患者に対する前記センサ装置の配向を示す標識を含むセンサ装置と、
少なくとも一つのプロセッサと、
出力装置と
を含み、
前記少なくとも一つのプロセッサは、
検知された少なくとも一つの患者特性に基づいて前記患者に対して提案される体位再変更予定であって、前記患者の体位再変更に対する少なくとも一つの提案される時を特定する体位再変更予定を生成し、
提案される体位再変更予定を、前記患者の配向角度と、患者向き変更の頻度と、所定体位で経過した時間量と、前記患者の身体の所定領域が減圧状態にある体位で経過した時間量と、前記患者の身体の創傷の又は以前創傷だった領域が加圧状態にある時間量とを含む群から選択される少なくとも一つのパラメータに基づいて調節するように構成され、
前記出力装置は、前記提案される体位再変更予定をユーザに表示するシステム。 - 前記ユーザは介護者である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ユーザは前記患者である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも一つのプロセッサはさらに、前記センサ装置の前記患者との適切な付着を確認するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも一つのプロセッサは、検知された少なくとも一つの患者特性を代表する信号を使用して前記センサ装置の前記患者との適切な付着を確認する、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記患者に対して前記センサ装置を自動的に配向させる手段をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 患者の生理学的状況をモニタリングするシステムであって、
前記患者の加速度、配向、体位及び位置を含む群から選択される少なくとも一つの患者特性を検知するべく構成されるセンサ装置であって、前記患者に対する前記センサ装置の配向を示す標識を含むセンサ装置と、
少なくとも一つのプロセッサと、
出力装置と
を含み、
前記少なくとも一つのプロセッサは、
検出された少なくとも一つの患者特性に基づいて特定患者向け体位再変更予定を前記患者のために決定し、
前記特定患者向け体位再変更予定を、前記患者の配向角度と、患者向き変更の頻度と、所定体位で経過した時間量と、前記患者の身体の所定領域が減圧状態にある体位で経過した時間量と、前記患者の身体の創傷の又は以前創傷だった領域が加圧状態にある時間量とを含む群から選択される少なくとも一つのパラメータに基づいて調節するように構成され、
前記出力装置は、特定患者向け体位再変更予定の調節されたパラメータを、前記患者に対して出力するシステム。 - 患者の生理学的状況をモニタリングするシステムであって、
前記患者の加速度、配向、体位及び位置を含む群から選択される少なくとも一つの患者特性を検知するべく構成されるセンサ装置であって、前記患者に対して前記センサ装置を配向させる手段を含むセンサ装置と、
タイミング信号と、
少なくとも一つのプロセッサと
を含み、
前記少なくとも一つのプロセッサは、
検知された少なくとも一つの患者特性に基づいて、患者体位再変更アクションが提案される時を決定し、
前記患者体位再変更アクションが提案される時を、前記患者の配向角度と、患者向き変更の頻度と、所定体位で経過した時間量と、前記患者の身体の所定領域が減圧状態にある体位で経過した時間量と、前記患者の身体の創傷の又は以前創傷だった領域が加圧状態にある時間量とを含む群から選択される少なくとも一つのパラメータに基づいて調節するように構成されるシステム。 - 前記患者に対して前記センサ装置を配向させる手段は標識を含む、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記センサ装置を配向させる手段は自動的に動作する、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記患者体位再変更アクションが必要であるとの通知を出力する出力装置をさらに含む、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記患者体位再変更アクションが必要である時を決定する少なくとも一つのパラメータを出力する出力装置をさらに含む、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 患者の生理学的状況をモニタリングするシステムであって、
前記患者の加速度、配向、体位及び位置を含む群から選択される少なくとも一つの患者特性を検知するべく構成されるセンサ装置と、
タイミング信号と、
少なくとも一つのプロセッサと
を含み、
前記少なくとも一つのプロセッサは、
前記センサ装置の前記患者との適切な付着を確認し、
検知された少なくとも一つの患者特性と前記タイミング信号とに基づいて患者体位再変更アクションが提案される時を決定し、
前記患者体位再変更アクションが提案される時を、前記患者の配向角度と、患者向き変更の頻度と、所定体位で経過した時間量と、前記患者の身体の所定領域が減圧状態にある体位で経過した時間量と、前記患者の身体の創傷の又は以前創傷だった領域が加圧状態にある時間量とを含む群から選択される少なくとも一つのパラメータに基づいて調節するように構成されるシステム。 - 患者に対する一連の提案されるアクションを与えるシステムであって、
前記患者の加速度、配向、体位及び位置を含む群から選択される少なくとも一つの患者特性を検知するべく構成されるセンサ装置と、
プロセッサと、
送達手段と
を含み、
前記プロセッサは、
検知された少なくとも一つの患者特性に基づいて前記患者に対して提案される体位再変更予定を決定し、
前記提案される体位再変更予定を、前記患者の配向角度と、患者向き変更の頻度と、所定体位で経過した時間量と、前記患者の身体の所定領域が減圧状態にある体位で経過した時間量と、前記患者の身体の創傷の又は以前創傷だった領域が加圧状態にある時間量とを含む群から選択される少なくとも一つのパラメータによって調節するように構成され、
前記送達手段は、調節された前記提案される体位再変更予定を実行するシステム。 - 前記一連の提案されるアクションは、引き続いての前記患者のモニタリングを含む、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 患者の減圧又は再配向の少なくとも一つを検知するシステムであって、
前記患者の体位、位置及び配向を含む群から選択される患者特性をモニタリングするべく前記患者に付着されるセンサ装置と、
モニタリングされた患者特性をプロセッサに通信するべく構成される通信リンクと、
出力装置と
を含み、
前記プロセッサは、
前記患者が支持される支持表面の少なくとも一つの特性を変える指令を生成する時を決定し、
前記支持表面の少なくとも一つを変える指令を生成する時を、前記患者の配向角度と、患者向き変更の頻度と、所定体位で経過した時間量と、前記患者の身体の所定領域が減圧状態にある体位で経過した時間量と、前記患者の身体の創傷の又は以前創傷だった領域が加圧状態にある時間量とを含む群から選択される少なくとも一つのパラメータに基づいて調節するように構成され、
前記出力装置は、調節された前記指令を生成する時を表示するシステム。 - 患者介護のためのパラメータを特定するシステムであって、
ブレーデンスコア、活動性レベル、可動性レベル、摩擦、ずれ力、湿潤、失禁、湿度レベル、ハイドレーション、栄養状態、知覚の認知、組織灌流、心臓血管状態、呼吸器状態、身体の体質、ボディマス分布、ボディマス指数、重量、年齢、性別、医学的状況、及び既存の創傷又は褥瘡を含む群からの特定患者向けデータを与えるべく構成されるデータ記憶部と、
環境に対する患者の配向を検知するセンサ装置と、
予め記録された患者生理学的データ及び前記センサ装置から受信された信号に応答して患者介護のためのパラメータを特定するプロセッサと
を含み、
前記パラメータは、提案される体位再変更予定のためのパラメータを含み、
前記提案される体位再変更予定は、前記センサ装置から受信した信号に基づいて可変であり、
前記提案される体位再変更予定は、前記患者の配向角度と、患者向き変更の頻度と、所定体位で経過した時間量と、前記患者の身体の所定領域が減圧状態にある体位で経過した時間量と、前記患者の身体の創傷の又は以前創傷だった領域が加圧状態にある時間量を含む群から選択される少なくとも一つのパラメータによって調節されるシステム。 - 前記特定患者向けデータは予め記録される、請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 配向を含む患者の生理学的状況をモニタリングするシステムであって、
前記患者の少なくとも一つの生物測定パラメータを検知するべく構成される少なくとも一つのセンサ装置と、
前記センサ装置の前記患者に対する配向を決定するべくかつ体位再変更予定を提案するべく前記センサ装置から受信した信号を分析するプロセッサと
を含み、
提案される体位再変更予定は、前記センサ装置から受信した信号に基づいて可変であり、
提案される体位再変更予定は、前記患者の配向角度と、患者向き変更の頻度と、所定体位で経過した時間量と、前記患者の身体の所定領域が減圧状態にある体位で経過した時間量と、前記患者の身体の創傷の又は以前創傷だった領域が加圧状態にある時間量とを含む群から選択される少なくとも一つのパラメータによって調節されるシステム。 - 前記少なくとも一つの検知される生物測定パラメータは加速度である、請求項19に記載のシステム。
