Claims (6)
- 特定方向に延びる帯状の被成膜材をその長手方向に搬送しながら加熱することにより当該被成膜材の脱ガス処理を行う装置であって、
前記被成膜材を上下方向に搬送しながらこれと直交する特定の進行方向に進行させるように当該被成膜材を案内する複数の案内ローラであって、前記進行方向に間隔をおいて配列される複数の上側ローラ及び前記上側ローラよりも下側の位置で前記進行方向に間隔をおいて配列される複数の下側ローラを含むものと、
上下方向に搬送される被成膜材のうち前記進行方向に互いに隣接する部分同士の間に立直姿勢で配設され、当該部分を加熱するように発熱する少なくとも一つのプレートヒータと、
前記案内ローラ及び前記プレートヒータを収容するチャンバと、を備え、このチャンバは、前記案内ローラ及び前記プレートヒータを囲む外壁であって当該外壁の内外を連通する開口が形成されたものを含み、
当該外壁は、前記各案内ローラの回転中心軸と平行な方向を前後方向としたとき前記案内ローラ及び前記プレートヒータの当該前後方向の両側にそれぞれ位置する前側壁及び後側壁を含み、これら前側壁及び後側壁はそれぞれ、前記各上側ローラの軸方向の端部を回転可能に支持する上側ローラ支持部と、この上側ローラ支持部よりも下側の位置で前記各下側ローラの軸方向の端部を回転可能に支持する下側ローラ支持部と、を含み、
前記開口には、前記前側壁及び後側壁のうちの少なくとも一方の側壁の内外を当該側壁の上側ローラ支持部と下側ローラ支持部との間の領域において連通するように形成されたローラ間開口が含まれ、当該ローラ間開口は上下方向に搬送される前記被成膜材及び前記各プレートヒータを前記進行方向に横切る形状を有する、脱ガス処理装置。 - 請求項1記載の脱ガス処理装置であって、前記ローラ間開口は、前記前側壁及び前記後側壁の双方に形成されている、脱ガス処理装置。
- 請求項1または2記載の脱ガス処理装置であって、前記外壁は前記案内ローラ及び前記プレートヒータの上下方向の両側にそれぞれ位置する天壁及び底壁を含み、前記開口として、前記天壁及び前記底壁にそれぞれ上側開口及び下側開口が形成され、前記脱ガス処理装置は、前記チャンバを下から支持して前記下側開口の下方に作業用の空間を形成する支持部材をさらに備える、脱ガス処理装置。
- 請求項3記載の脱ガス処理装置であって、前記上側開口を通じての作業を行うための足場をさらに備え、この足場は、前記チャンバの前後方向の少なくとも一方の側で前記ローラ間開口から上下方向に外れた位置に配置される、脱ガス処理装置。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の脱ガス処理装置であって、前後方向に延びる軸回りに回転しながら被成膜材を前記各案内ローラへ巻出す巻出しロールと、前後方向に延びる軸回りに回転しながら被成膜材を前記各案内ローラから巻き取る巻取りロールと、をさらに備え、これら巻出しロール及び巻取りロールが前記案内ローラとともに前記チャンバ内に収容される、脱ガス処理装置。
- 請求項5記載の脱ガス処理装置であって、前記巻出しロール及び巻取りロールは前記各案内ローラから上下方向に外れた位置で、前記各案内ローラの回転中心軸と直交する左右方向について互いに並ぶように設けられ、前記チャンバの外壁に、前記開口として、当該外壁の左右両側にそれぞれ位置する左右開口が形成されていてこれら左右開口がそれぞれ当該左右開口を通じて前記巻出しロール及び前記巻取りロールの出し入れを可能にする大きさを有する、脱ガス処理装置。
