Description
図1は、本実施形態に係るレーザ装置を示す図である。図1に示すように、本実施形態のレーザ装置1は、共振器型のファイバレーザ装置とされ、増幅用光ファイバ10と、励起光源20と、第1光ファイバ30と、第1光ファイバ30に設けられる第1FBG35と、第2光ファイバ40と、第2光ファイバ40に設けられる第2FBG45と、光コンバイナ50とを主な構成として備える。

Claims (7)
- レーザ装置に用いられ、コアを波長1060nmの光が少なくともLP01モードとLP11モードとで伝搬可能な光ファイバであって、
前記LP01モードの光の伝搬定数と前記LP11モードの光の伝搬定数との差が1850rad/m以上4000rad/m以下とされる
ことを特徴とする光ファイバ。 - 前記LP01モードの光の伝搬定数と前記LP11モードの光の伝搬定数との差が2500rad/m以下とされる
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光ファイバ。 - 前記コアのクラッドに対する屈折率分布がステップ状であり、
前記コアの直径が18μm以上28.5μm以下とされ、
前記コアの前記クラッドに対する比屈折率差が0.1%以上0.2%以下とされる
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光ファイバ。 - 前記コアの直径が23μm以上とされる
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の光ファイバ。 - 前記コアにはイッテルビウムが添加される
ことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の光ファイバ。 - コアを波長1060nmの光が少なくともLP01モードとLP11モードとで伝搬する光ファイバを備え、
前記光ファイバにおける前記LP01モードの光の伝搬定数と前記LP11モードの光の伝搬定数との差が1850rad/m以上4000rad/m以下とされる
ことを特徴とするレーザ装置。 - 前記コアにはイッテルビウムが添加され、
前記光ファイバには励起光が入射する
ことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のレーザ装置。
