Description
この位置検知装置は、ケース内に進退移動するホルダが設けられており、このホルダに2個の磁石が移動方向に並んで配置されている。ケースには検出部が固定されており、この検出部に、移動する前記磁石に対向する2個の磁気抵抗素子が設けられている。
前記磁石は、前記検知部の相対的な移動軌跡と直交する向きに着磁されて、前記検知部には、前記磁石から出る磁束のうちの前記移動軌跡と平行な成分を検知する磁気センサと前記移動軌跡と直交する成分を検知する磁気センサとが設けられており、
前記磁石は、前記移動軌跡に沿って複数個設けられ、それぞれ前記移動軌跡に対向する対向面を有し、前記対向面は、前記移動軌跡に沿う方向の両端部が、中央部よりも前記移動軌跡から遠ざかる位置に形成され、隣り合う前記磁石の前記対向面が逆極性に着磁されていることを特徴とするものである。
この位置検知装置1Aに使用されている第1の磁石11と第2の磁石12は図1(A)に示した位置検知装置1に設けられているものと同じである。図2に示す位置検知装置1Aは、磁石11,12を有する移動部10が回転し、移動部10と検知部20との相対的な移動軌跡Txが円弧に沿っている。なお、この位置検知装置1Aにおいても、磁石11,12が固定され、検知部20が円弧の移動軌跡Txに沿って移動してもよい。

Claims (5)
- 検知部と、前記検知部に対向する磁石とを有し、前記検知部と前記磁石とが相対的に移動する位置検知装置において、
前記磁石は、前記検知部の相対的な移動軌跡と直交する向きに着磁されて、前記検知部には、前記磁石から出る磁束のうちの前記移動軌跡と平行な成分を検知する磁気センサと前記移動軌跡と直交する成分を検知する磁気センサとが設けられており、
前記磁石は、前記移動軌跡に沿って複数個設けられ、それぞれ前記移動軌跡に対向する対向面を有し、前記対向面は、前記移動軌跡に沿う方向の両端部が、中央部よりも前記移動軌跡から遠ざかる位置に形成され、隣り合う前記磁石の前記対向面が逆極性に着磁されていることを特徴とする位置検知装置。 - 前記対向面は、前記移動軌跡に沿う方向に曲率を有する突曲面である請求項1記載の位置検知装置。
- 前記曲率の半径は、前記対向面と前記移動軌跡との最短距離の1.7倍以上で3.4倍以下である請求項1または2記載の位置検知装置。
- 前記移動軌跡は直線である請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の位置検知装置。
- 前記移動軌跡は円弧である請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の位置検知装置。
