Claims (12)
- サーマルトリガ・アセンブリ(10)と、
バルブ本体を含み、開状態と閉状態とを有するバルブと、を備え、
上記サーマルトリガ・アセンブリ(10)は、
長軸を有するベース(62、962、1162)を含む起動コンポーネント(12、60、160、960、1160)と、
上記長軸に平行に上記ベースに対して移動可能な可動部材(64、964)と、
上記可動部材(64、964)と上記ベースとの間に位置し、上記ベースに対する起動前位置から当該ベースに対する起動位置に上記可動部材を付勢する、バイアス部材(66)と、
上記長軸に対して平行な力を付勢して所定の熱力学条件が充たされるまでのみ上記可動部材を上記起動前位置に保持する、上記所定の熱力学条件下で構造的な一体性を失うように構成されている熱反応性部材(68、1168)であって、上記起動前位置から上記起動位置までの間、上記長軸に平行に上記可動部材(64、964)の移動をさせる熱反応性部材(68、1168)と、
上記バルブに固定接続されるように構成された第1端部(52a、152a、1052a、1152a、1252a)と、上記ベース(62、962、1162)に固定接続されるように構成された第2端部(52b、152b、1152b)とを有する、可撓性の中空外部ケーブルハウジング(52、152、1052、1152、1252)と、上記中空外部ケーブルハウジングの内部をスライド移動のみするために、当該中空外部ケーブルハウジングの内部にスライド可能に位置し、かつ、第1端部(54a、154a、1054a、1154a、1254a)と、上記所定の熱力学条件下において上記熱反応性部材が構造的一体性を喪失することに伴う上記可動部材の移動によって、上記中空外部ケーブルハウジングに対して移動するように上記可動部材に固定接続された第2端部(54b、154b、1154b)と、を含む可撓性ケーブル(54、154、1054、1154、1254)と、を有する可撓性コネクタ(14、50、150、1050、1150、1250)とを備え、
上記バルブは、
環状のシール部材と、
上記閉状態において上記シール部材を支持するように構成されたシャフトと、
上記閉状態において上記シャフトを支持するように構成されたサポートアセンブリであって、上記シャフトを支持するレバーを備えたサポートアセンブリと、を備え、
上記バルブが上記閉状態から上記開状態に変化するように上記レバーを動かすために、上記可動部材の動きに反応した上記可撓性コネクタの動作が上記サポートアセンブリに作用するように上記可撓性ケーブルの上記第1端部が上記サポートアセンブリに連結していることを特徴とする消火システムのための組み合わせ。 - 上記中空外部ケーブルハウジングの上記第1端部は、上記バルブ本体と固定接続するために構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の消火システムのための組み合わせ。
- 上記熱反応性部材は、アルコールが充填されたバルブ(68)又は可溶性リンク(1168)であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の消火システムのための組み合わせ。
- 上記起動コンポーネントは、さらに、上記可動部材(964)の移動に伴って状態を変化させるように上記起動コンポーネント(960)上に搭載されるスイッチ(969)を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の消火システムのための組み合わせ。
- 上記バルブは、ポペットバルブ(120、920、1120)又はクラッパバルブ(2
0)であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の消火システムのための組み合わせ。 - 上記サポートアセンブリは、さらに、上記シャフトと実質的に共線に方向付けられたスクリューを含み、当該スクリューは、上記サポートアセンブリと上記シャフトに作用し、かつ、上記バルブを上記閉状態に維持するために上記シール部材に力を付勢することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の消火システムのための組み合わせ。
- 上記バルブは、ポペットバルブ(120、920、1120)又はクラッパバルブ(2
0)であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の消火システムのための組み合わせ。 - 上記バルブ本体は、入口と、出口と、当該入口と当該出口との間の流体通路とを含み、
さらに、上記出口に流体接続する少なくとも1つの配水装置を備えることを特徴とする請求項1または6に記載の消火システムのための組み合わせ。 - 上記少なくとも1つの配水装置は、熱反応性部材(88)及びプラグ(89)を備えた自動消火スプリンクラー(80、180)を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の消火システムのための組み合わせ。
- 上記少なくとも1つの配水装置は、熱反応性部材及びプラグを備えていない開放型消火スプリンクラーを含んでいることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の消火システムのための組み合わせ。
- 上記少なくとも1つの配水装置と上記出口とを管が接続することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の消火システムのための組み合わせ。
- 上記入口は給水管に流体接続する請求項8から11の何れか1項に記載の消火システムのための組み合わせ。
