Description
図1は、本発明の一実施形態に係る吸着ローラ10を軸心Aの方向に見た側面図である。図2は、吸着ローラ10を、軸心Aを含む平面で切断した断面図である。この吸着ローラ10は、長尺帯状の基材91を吸着保持しつつ、水平に延びる軸心A周りに回転することによって、基材9を搬送するローラである。基材91の具体例については、後述する。吸着ローラ10は、複数の吸着孔123を有する円筒状の外周面を有する。製造装置1の稼働時には、図2中に概念的に示した吸引機構17により、複数の吸着孔123に負圧が生じる。帯状の基材91は、当該負圧によって、吸着ローラ10の外周面の一部分に、吸着保持される。なお、吸着ローラ10の直径は、例えば30mm〜1600mmとされる。
吸着ローラ10は、例えば、長尺帯状の電解質膜の表面に、電極層を形成して、固体高分子形燃料電池用の膜・電極接合体を製造する製造装置に用いることができる。当該製造装置では、吸着ローラ10が、長尺帯状の基材91である電解質膜を吸着保持しながら回転する。また、当該製造装置は、吸着ローラ10および塗布部で構成される塗工装置と、乾燥機構とを備える。
以上、本発明の一実施形態について説明したが、本発明は、上記の実施形態に限定されるものではない。

Claims (9)
- 帯状の基材を外周面の一部分に吸着保持しつつ回転する吸着ローラであって、
前記外周面を有する円筒状のローラ本体と、
前記ローラ本体の軸心方向の端面に固定されたオリフィスプレートと、
前記オリフィスプレートの前記ローラ本体とは反対側の面に固定されたサイドプレートと、
を備え、
前記ローラ本体は、
前記外周面に設けられた複数の吸着孔と、
前記外周面の内側に設けられ、前記複数の吸着孔と連通する内部流路と、
を有し、
前記オリフィスプレートは、
前記内部流路に連通するオリフィス孔
を有し、
前記サイドプレートは、
前記オリフィス孔に連通する排気流路
を有し、
前記排気流路は、前記軸心と同軸に設けられた中央流路に連通し、前記中央流路は吸引機構に接続され、
前記軸心方向に見て、前記オリフィス孔は、前記内部流路および前記排気流路よりも小さく、
前記軸心に沿って設けられた前記中央流路を有するシャフトと、
前記シャフトの端部に接続されたモータと、
をさらに備え、
前記モータにより、前記ローラ本体、前記オリフィスプレート、前記サイドプレート、および前記シャフトが、一体として前記軸心周りに回転する吸着ローラ。 - 請求項1に記載の吸着ローラであって、
前記ローラ本体は、複数の前記内部流路を有し、
前記複数の内部流路は、前記軸心の周囲に互いに間隔をあけて配列され、
前記複数の内部流路のそれぞれが、前記軸心方向に延びる吸着ローラ。 - 請求項2に記載の吸着ローラであって、
前記オリフィスプレートは、前記複数の内部流路の各々に連通する複数の前記オリフィス孔を有する吸着ローラ。 - 請求項2または請求項3に記載の吸着ローラであって、
前記ローラ本体の前記内部流路よりも内側に設けられた加熱機構
をさらに有する吸着ローラ。 - 請求項4に記載の吸着ローラであって、
前記オリフィスプレートは、樹脂製である吸着ローラ。 - 請求項1から請求項5までのいずれか1項に記載の吸着ローラであって、
前記オリフィス孔の内径は、0.1mm以上かつ3.0mm以下である吸着ローラ。 - 請求項1から請求項6までのいずれか1項に記載の吸着ローラであって、
前記オリフィスプレートは、前記ローラ本体に対して着脱可能である吸着ローラ。 - 請求項1から請求項7までのいずれか1項に記載の吸着ローラと、
前記吸着ローラに吸着保持された基材の表面に材料を塗布する塗布部と、
を備える塗工装置。 - 請求項8に記載の塗工装置と、
基材の表面に塗布された材料を乾燥させる乾燥機構と、
を備え、
前記基材は、電解質膜であり、
前記材料は、電極材料である膜・電極接合体の製造装置。
