Description
Claims (3)
- 光接続デバイスを作製する方法であって、
第1光ファイバ部品、第2光ファイバ部品、貫通孔のための第1溝を含む第1部品、並びに前記貫通孔のための第2溝を含む第2部品を準備する工程と、
前記第1光ファイバ部品及び前記第2光ファイバ部品を前記第1部品と前記第2部品との間に固定して、前記第1溝及び前記第2溝を含む貫通孔を有する第1生産物を形成する工程と、
第1光導波路及び第2光導波路を含む光コネクタと該光コネクタに取り付けられた収容部品とを含む光コネクタツールを準備する工程と、
前記第1生産物の前記貫通孔において前記第1生産物を基準にして前記光コネクタツールの前記収容部品を位置決めする工程と、
前記位置決めの後に、前記収容部品を前記第1生産物の前記貫通孔に樹脂を用いて固定して、第2生産物を形成する工程と、
を備え、
前記第1光ファイバ部品及び前記第2光ファイバ部品は、それぞれ、第1長さ及び第2長さを有し、前記第2長さは前記第1長さより長く、
第1生産物を形成する前記工程では、前記第1光ファイバ部品及び前記第2光ファイバ部品は、前記第1光ファイバ部品、並びに前記第2光ファイバ部品の一端部分及び前記第2光ファイバ部品の他端部分が前記第1部品と前記第2部品との間に位置すると共に前記第2光ファイバ部品の一端部分及び前記第2光ファイバ部品の他端部分を繋ぐ前記第2光ファイバ部品の中間部分が前記第1部品及び前記第2部品の外側に位置するように、前記第1部品と前記第2部品との間に配置され、
前記光コネクタツールの前記収容部品を位置決めする工程において、前記第1生産物内の前記第2光ファイバ部品の前記一端部分及び前記他端部分が前記光コネクタの前記第1光導波路及び前記第2光導波路に光学的に結合するようにアクティブ調芯を行う、光接続デバイスを作製する方法。 - 前記第2光ファイバ部品の前記一端部分及び前記他端部分が前記第1部品と前記第2部品との間に残されるように前記第2光ファイバ部品を処理して、前記第2光ファイバ部品の前記中間部分を除去する工程を更に備える、請求項1に記載された光接続デバイスを作製する方法。
- 前記第2生産物から前記光コネクタを取り外す工程を更に備える、請求項1又は2に記載された光接続デバイスを作製する方法。
