Description
Claims (9)
- 耐圧性の容器と、
前記容器内に収納された、紫外線透過性の保護管と、
前記保護管内に収容される紫外線ランプと、
前記容器内に収納された、紫外線透過性の通水管であって、該通水管内に被処理液体が流されるように構成されたものと
からなり、前記容器は閉鎖された残余空間を有し、前記容器内の前記残余空間を紫外線透過性の液状媒体で満たし、前記紫外線ランプからの紫外線が前記保護管、前記液状媒体、前記通水管を透過して前記被処理液体に照射されるように構成し、
前記通水管内に紫外線センサーを設置し、かつ、
前記保護管は、前記被処理液体に接することなく、前記残余空間内の液状媒体に該保護管の全体が接するように前記容器内に配置されていることを特徴とする紫外線照射装置。 - 前記液状媒体は純水である、請求項1の紫外線照射装置。
- 前記容器の内壁に紫外線を反射させるための反射層を配置した、請求項1又は2の紫外線照射装置。
- 前記反射層は、アルミニウム及びフッ素樹脂の少なくとも1つを用いた材質からなる、請求項3の紫外線照射装置。
- 前記紫外線ランプは波長190〜400nmの領域内に属する紫外線を発生する、請求項1乃至4のいずれかの紫外線照射装置。
- 前記被処理液体が前記通水管を流れるとき、前記容器内の残余空間に前記液状媒体が満たされていることにより、前記通水管の内外の圧力が略等圧となるように構成されている、請求項1乃至5のいずれかの紫外線照射装置。
- 前記容器内の液状媒体を冷却するための冷却手段をさらに備えた、請求項1乃至6のいずれかの紫外線照射装置。
- 前記通水管を洗浄するための洗浄機構をさらに備えた、請求項1乃至7のいずれかの紫外線照射装置。
- 前記洗浄機構は、前記液状媒体に超音波を当てること、前記通水管にバイブレータの振動を伝達すること、前記通水管の内部をブラシで洗浄することの少なくとも1つに基づくものである、請求項8の紫外線照射装置。
