Description
正極16は、正極活物質が電極板15に塗工されることにより形成される正極活物質層である。負極17は、負極活物質が電極板15に塗工されることにより形成される負極活物質層である。電極積層体11において、一のバイポーラ電極14の正極16は、セパレータ13を挟んで積層方向Dに隣り合う別のバイポーラ電極14の負極17と対向している。電極積層体11において、一のバイポーラ電極14の負極17は、セパレータ13を挟んで積層方向Dに隣り合うさらに別のバイポーラ電極14の正極16と対向している。
Claims (8)
- 第1方向に沿って積層された複数の電極を含む積層体と、
前記電極の縁部を包囲するように前記積層体に設けられた封止体と、
を備え、
前記電極は、複数のバイポーラ電極と、負極終端電極と、正極終端電極と、を含み、
前記バイポーラ電極は、電極板と、前記電極板の第1面に設けられた正極と、前記電極板の前記第1面の反対の第2面に設けられた負極と、を含み、
前記負極終端電極は、前記電極板と前記第2面に設けられた負極とを含み、前記第2面が前記積層体の内側になるように、前記第1方向の前記積層体の一端に配置されており、
前記正極終端電極は、前記電極板と前記第1面に設けられた正極とを含み、前記第1面が前記積層体の内側になるように、前記第1方向の前記積層体の他端に配置されており、
前記封止体は、前記電極の縁部に接合された複数の第1封止部と、前記複数の第1封止部を外側から包囲するように前記第1封止部に接合された第2封止部と、を含み、
前記第2封止部は、前記積層体の前記一端側において、前記負極終端電極の縁部に接合された前記第1封止部である第3封止部に重複するように前記第3封止部上に設けられた第1重複部を含み、
前記第1重複部は、前記第1方向に沿った前記第3封止部の変形を規制するための規制部を含む、
蓄電モジュール。 - 前記第2封止部は、前記積層体の前記他端側において、前記正極終端電極の縁部に接合された前記第1封止部である第4封止部に重複するように前記第4封止部上に設けられた第2重複部を含み、
前記第1重複部は、前記第1方向に沿った厚さが前記第2重複部の厚さよりも厚くされた部分を前記規制部として含む、
請求項1に記載の蓄電モジュール。 - 前記第1方向に沿った前記第1重複部の厚さは、300μm以上3mm以下である、
請求項1又は2に記載の蓄電モジュール。 - 前記積層体の前記一端側に配置され、前記第1方向に沿って前記積層体に拘束荷重を付加する拘束部材を備え、
前記第1方向に沿った前記規制部の厚さは、前記第1方向についての当該規制部の外縁が前記拘束部材の外縁よりも前記積層体の内側に位置する範囲において、前記第1方向に沿った前記第1封止部の厚さの2倍以上である、
請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の蓄電モジュール。 - 前記第1重複部は、前記負極終端電極の前記電極板にさらに重複するように、前記積層体の内側に向けて延在する部分を前記規制部として含む、
請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の蓄電モジュール。 - 前記第1重複部は、前記積層体の前記第1方向に交差する側面上における前記第2封止部の厚さ以上の厚さを有する第1部分を前記規制部として含む、
請求項1に記載の蓄電モジュール。 - 前記第2封止部は、前記積層体の前記他端側において、前記正極終端電極の縁部に接合された前記第1封止部である第4封止部に重複するように前記第4封止部上に設けられた第2重複部を含み、
前記第2重複部は、前記第1方向に交差する前記積層体の側面上における前記第2封止部の厚さ以上の厚さを有する第2部分を含む、
請求項6に記載の蓄電モジュール。 - 前記第1封止部は、前記第1方向からみて前記電極の縁部から前記電極の外側に延在する環状の延在部を含み、
前記第1部分及び前記第2部分は、前記第1方向からみて前記延在部を覆うように環状に設けられている、
