Description
図1は、本実施形態に係る表示装置10の前面図である。表示装置10は、液晶パネル20と、液晶パネルの背面に沿って設けられた光源装置100と、液晶パネル20および光源装置100を支持する枠30とを備える。図1において、視認性のために液晶パネル20は背面側の光源装置100を透過するように示されている。図1に示す表示装置10に含まれる各部の数および大きさは実際の構成を反映しておらず、実際の実装方法に応じて任意に設計されてよい。
実施例として第1の実施形態に係る光源装置100に対して加速試験を行った。また、光源装置100から高熱伝導覆い材130およびヒートシンク150が省略された比較例1、ならびに光源装置100から高熱伝導覆い材130が省略された比較例2に対して加速試験を行った。加速試験の条件としては、発光素子121として中心波長450nmのLEDを用いて光源装置100を作製し、85度の環境温度においてLEDを点灯した。LED点灯前の状態および70時間経過後の状態についてそれぞれ全光束を測定し、それらの状態の間の全光束維持率を算出した。光束維持率は、比較例1を100%とした相対値として表されており、その値が高いほど量子ドットの劣化が抑制されているため良い。また、実施例、比較例1および比較例2についてそれぞれ外観検査を行った。外観検査は、量子ドット112および分散媒113の色が、劣化により黒くなる程度を評価したものである。測定結果を表1に示す。
図4は、図1のA-A線から見た本実施形態に係る表示装置10の断面図である。本実施形態においては、量子ドット構造体110の構成が第1の実施形態と異なる。量子ドット構造体110の構成以外は、第1の実施形態と同様である。

Claims (4)
- 基板と、
前記基板の上に支持され、光を発生させる光源素子およびフレームを有する光源部と、
前記光源部の上に支持された、前記光によって励起される量子ドットを内包する容器と、
前記フレームと前記容器と前記基板とを接続する熱伝導覆い材と、
樹脂および前記樹脂に混合された熱伝導性充てん材を有する熱伝導体と、
を備え、
前記容器は前記光が入射する底壁および前記底壁を取り囲む側壁を有し、
前記熱伝導性充てん材が、前記容器および前記フレームにより取り囲まれた領域を充てんし、
前記樹脂はポリカーボネートまたはナイロンであり、前記熱伝導性充てん材は無機粒子であり、
前記熱伝導覆い材は、前記容器の前記側壁と前記基板とを接続し、前記容器の前記側壁、前記フレームの側壁、および前記基板の表面に連続して接触するように設けられ、前記容器の熱伝導率よりも高い熱伝導率を有する熱伝導金属を含み、
前記熱伝導性充てん材が、前記容器の底壁から前記フレームを介して前記基板に熱を伝導することを特徴とする、光源装置。 - 前記熱伝導体は、前記光を透過することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光源装置。
- 前記基板の前記容器とは反対側の面に放熱部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の光源装置。
- 請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の前記光源装置と、前記光源装置からの光が照射される位置に設けられた液晶パネルと、を備える表示装置。
