Description
このように、循環油路22を流動するオイルの一部は、第1分岐油路25を介して動力分割機構4に供給され、残りのオイルが第2分岐油路28と第3分岐油路29とを介して各モータ2,3に供給されるとしても、循環油路22には、流量制御弁やオリフィスなどは特には設けられていない。そのため、循環油路22の圧力損失を特には増大することがなく、オイルポンプ6でのエネルギの損失を抑制することができる。また簡易な構成とすることができる。そして、それらの第2分岐油路28と第3分岐油路29とは並列に設けられているので、この点でも、それらの分岐油路28,29を直列に設ける場合と比較して、循環油路22の圧力損失を特には増大することがない。また、各分岐油路28,29では、各上掛け部30,33と、軸芯冷却部31,34とが直列に設けられているため、貫通孔30a,33aの数や大きさを変更することによって、各モータ2,3のコイル2c、3cやロータ2b、3bへのオイルの供給量を増減できると共に、各分岐油路28,29の圧力損失の大きさを増減することができる。それらの結果、動力分割機構4と各モータ2,3とに対して過不足なくオイルを供給することができる。さらに、上述した構成では、各モータ2,3に対してオイルクーラー21で冷却されたオイルを供給するため、各モータ2,3を効率よく冷却することができる。そして、上述した実施形態では、各分岐油路28,29をパイプによって構成するため、各分岐油路28,29の形状や配置の自由度を増大することができる。
Claims (4)
- エンジンと、発電機能のある第1モータと、前記エンジンが出力したトルクを前記第1モータ側と駆動輪側とに分割する差動装置と、前記第1モータによって発電された電力で駆動されると共に前記差動装置から前記駆動輪に伝達されるトルクに、モータトルクを加減する第2モータと、オイル溜まり部から汲み上げたオイルを前記第1モータおよび前記第2モータならびに前記差動装置に供給するオイルポンプと、前記オイルを冷却するオイルクーラーと、前記オイルポンプから吐出された前記オイルを前記オイルクーラーを介して循環させる循環油路とを備えた動力伝達装置の冷却装置であって、
前記循環油路から分岐して前記差動装置に前記オイルを供給する第1分岐油路と、
前記循環油路における前記オイルの流動方向で、前記第1分岐油路が分岐している箇所よりも下流側の前記循環油路から分岐して前記第1モータと前記第2モータとのそれぞれに前記オイルを供給する第2分岐油路と第3分岐油路とを備え、
前記第2分岐油路は、前記第2分岐油路を流動する前記オイルの少なくとも一部を前記第1モータのコイルに供給する第1オイル供給部と、残りの前記オイルを前記第1モータの軸芯に供給する第2オイル供給部とを有し、
前記第3分岐油路は、前記第2分岐油路と並列に設けられていて、かつ、前記第3分岐油路を流動する前記オイルの少なくとも一部を前記第2モータのコイルに供給する第3オイル供給部と、残りの前記オイルを前記第2モータの軸芯に供給する第4オイル供給部とを有し、さらに
前記第2分岐油路における前記オイルの流動方向で、前記第1オイル供給部の下流側に前記第2オイル供給部が設けられており、
前記第3分岐油路における前記オイルの流動方向で、前記第3オイル供給部の下流側に前記第4オイル供給部が設けられている
ことを特徴とする動力伝達装置の冷却装置。 - 請求項1に記載の動力伝達装置の冷却装置であって、
前記動力伝達装置は、前記第1モータと前記第2モータとを収容するケースを更に備え、
前記ケースの内壁面のうちの前記動力伝達装置の高さ方向で前記第1モータの上方の内壁面に、前記第1オイル供給部が設けられており、
前記ケースの内壁面のうちの前記動力伝達装置の高さ方向で前記第2モータの上方の内壁面に、前記第3オイル供給部が設けられており、
前記ケースの外部に、前記第2分岐油路における前記第1オイル供給部と前記第2オイル供給部との間の油路と、前記第3分岐油路における前記第3オイル供給部と前記第4オイル供給部との間の油路とが設けられている
ことを特徴とする動力伝達装置の冷却装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の動力伝達装置の冷却装置であって、
前記循環油路における前記オイルの流動方向で、前記オイルクーラーよりも上流側の前記循環油路から前記第1分岐油路が分岐しており、
前記循環油路における前記オイルの流動方向で、前記オイルクーラーよりも下流側の前記循環油路から前記第2分岐油路と前記第3分岐油路とが分岐している
ことを特徴とする動力伝達装置の冷却装置。 - 請求項1ないし3のいずれか一項に記載の動力伝達装置の冷却装置であって、
前記第1分岐油路にオリフィスが設けられている
ことを特徴とする動力伝達装置の冷却装置。
