以下、高圧タンク1の製造方法の実施形態を説明する。第1実施形態では、胴体部11を覆うフープ層21とドーム部12を覆うヘリカル層22とで用いられる樹脂含浸繊維の種類が異なる高圧タンクの製造方法を説明し、第2実施形態では、胴体部11を覆うフープ層21とドーム部12を覆うヘリカル層22とで樹脂を加熱する加熱量が異なる高圧タンクの製造方法を説明する。
第1実施形態に係る高圧タンク1の製造方法は、繊維と樹脂との界面強度において、ドーム部12を覆うヘリカル層22と比べて疲労強度が低く且つ引張強度が高くなるように、胴体部11を覆うフープ層21を積層するフープ層積層工程と、繊維と樹脂との界面強度において、胴体部11を覆うフープ層21と比べて疲労強度が高く且つ引張強度が低くなるように、ドーム部12を覆うヘリカル層22を積層するヘリカル層積層工程と、積層されたフープ層21及びヘリカル層22を熱硬化する熱硬化工程と、を含む。
第2実施形態に係る高圧タンク1の製造方法は、上述の第1実施形態と同様に、フープ層積層工程とヘリカル層積層工程と熱硬化工程とを含むが、フープ巻き用樹脂含浸繊維15とヘリカル巻き用樹脂含浸繊維16とが同じであること、熱硬化工程で胴体部11を覆うフープ層21を加熱する加熱量とドーム部12を覆うヘリカル層22を加熱する加熱量とが異なる点において、第1実施形態と相違している。以下、その相違点のみを説明する。
実施例1では、炭素繊維に塗布するサイジング剤を変更する場合(手段A)、繊維に含浸される樹脂の主剤をビスFからビスFに変更する場合(手段B1)、繊維に含浸される樹脂の硬化剤を芳香族アミンから酸無水物に変更する場合(手段B2)、加熱量を変更する場合(手段C)について、界面強度としての界面接着強度と引張強度との関係を調べた。なお、手段Aでは、炭素繊維のサイジング剤だけが相違し、O/Cを75%低減しており、熱硬化条件等の条件が同じであった。
実施例2では、繊維に含浸される樹脂の硬化剤を、表1に示すように胴体部を覆うフープ層とドーム部を覆うヘリカル層とで変更させることで高圧タンクを作製し、作製した高圧タンクの引張強度及び常温90MPaでの疲労試験について調べた。
また、比較のために、繊維に含浸される樹脂の硬化剤を変更せずに、すなわちフープ層とヘリカル層とで同じ硬化剤を使用する前提で実施例2と同じ条件で高圧タンクを作製し、作製した高圧タンクに対して実施例2と同様に引張試験及び疲労試験について調べた。なお、比較例1と比較例2とは、樹脂の硬化剤の種類において異なる。調べた結果を表1に示す。
実施例3では、表2に示すように通常の熱硬化とIHヒータによる口金伝熱との併用でドーム部を覆うヘリカル層を加熱して高圧タンクを作製し、作製した高圧タンクの引張強度及び常温90MPaでの疲労試験について調べた。
また、比較のために、通常の熱硬化のみでドーム部を覆うヘリカル層を加熱して高圧タンクを作製し、作製した高圧タンクに対して実施例3と同様に引張強度及び疲労試験について調べた。なお、比較例3と比較例4とは、熱硬化炉の炉温において異なる。調べた結果を表2に示す。

Claims (6)
- 円筒状の胴体部と前記胴体部の軸方向の両端に設けられたドーム部とを有するライナーと、樹脂が含浸された繊維をフープ巻きにして前記胴体部を覆うように積層されたフープ層と、樹脂が含浸された繊維をヘリカル巻きにして少なくとも前記ドーム部を覆うように積層されたヘリカル層と、を備える高圧タンクであって、
前記ドーム部を覆うヘリカル層における繊維と樹脂との界面強度を、前記胴体部を覆うフープ層における繊維と樹脂との界面強度よりも大きくすることにより、前記胴体部を覆うフープ層における引張強度は前記ドーム部を覆うヘリカル層における引張強度に比べて高く、且つ、前記ドーム部を覆うヘリカル層における疲労強度は前記胴体部を覆うフープ層における疲労強度と比べて高いことを特徴とする高圧タンク。 - 前記胴体部を覆うフープ層と前記ドーム部を覆うヘリカル層とで、用いられる繊維及び/又は樹脂が異なる請求項1に記載の高圧タンク。
- 前記ドーム部を覆うヘリカル層は、前記胴体部を覆うフープ層に比べて、樹脂を加熱する加熱量が多い請求項1に記載の高圧タンク。
- 円筒状の胴体部と前記胴体部の軸方向の両端に設けられたドーム部とを有するライナーと、樹脂が含浸された繊維をフープ巻きにして前記胴体部を覆うように積層されたフープ層と、樹脂が含浸された繊維をヘリカル巻きにして少なくとも前記ドーム部を覆うように積層されたヘリカル層と、を備える高圧タンクの製造方法であって、
前記ドーム部を覆うヘリカル層と比べて疲労強度が低く且つ引張強度が高くなるように、前記胴体部を覆うフープ層における繊維と樹脂との界面強度を前記ドーム部を覆うヘリカル層における繊維と樹脂との界面強度よりも小さくしてフープ層を積層するフープ層積層工程と、
前記胴体部を覆うフープ層と比べて疲労強度が高く且つ引張強度が低くなるように、前記ドーム部を覆うヘリカル層における繊維と樹脂との界面強度を前記胴体部を覆うフープ層における繊維と樹脂との界面強度よりも大きくしてヘリカル層を積層するヘリカル層積層工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする高圧タンクの製造方法。 - 前記フープ層積層工程と、前記ヘリカル層積層工程とで、用いられる繊維及び/又は樹脂が異なる請求項4に記載の高圧タンクの製造方法。
- 積層されたフープ層及びヘリカル層を熱硬化させる熱硬化工程を更に含み、
前記熱硬化工程において、前記胴体部を覆うフープ層を加熱する加熱量よりも、前記ドーム部を覆うヘリカル層を加熱する加熱量を多くする請求項4に記載の高圧タンクの製造方法。
