Description
図1は、電池100の斜視図である。図2は、図1のII-II線に沿う模式的な縦断面図である。図3は、図1のIII-III線に沿う模式的な縦断面図である。図4は、図1のIV-IV線に沿う模式的な横断面図である。なお、以下の説明において、図面中の符号L、R、F、Rr、U、Dは、左、右、前、後、上、下を表し、図面中の符号X、Y、Zは、電池100の短辺方向、短辺方向と直交する長辺方向、上下方向を、それぞれ表すものとする。ただし、これらは説明の便宜上の方向に過ぎず、電池100の設置形態を何ら限定するものではない。
電池100の製造方法は、上記したような捲回電極体20a、20b、20cを用いることで特徴付けられる。それ以外の製造プロセスは従来同様であってよい。電池100は、電極体群20(捲回電極体20a、20b、20c)に加えて、上記したような電池ケース10(外装体12および封口板14)と、電解液と、正極端子30と、負極端子40と、正極集電部50(正極第1集電部51および正極第2集電部52)と、負極集電部60(負極第1集電部61および負極第2集電部62)と、正極絶縁部材70と、負極絶縁部材80と、を用意し、例えば、第1取付工程と、第2取付工程と、挿入工程と、封口工程と、活性化工程と、をこの順に含む製造方法によって製造することができる。また、ここに開示される製造方法は、任意の段階でさらに他の工程を含んでもよい。
以上のようにして、電池100を製造することができる。

Claims (10)
- 底壁と、前記底壁に対向する開口と、を有する外装体と、
前記外装体の前記開口を封口する封口板と、
正極活物質層を有する帯状の正極と、負極活物質層を有する帯状の負極とが、帯状のセパレータを介して積層され、捲回軸を中心に捲回されてなる1つまたは複数の捲回電極体と、
前記捲回電極体の捲回軸方向の一方の端部に突出した複数の正極タブを含み、前記正極と電気的に接続された正極タブ群と、
前記捲回電極体の前記捲回軸方向の他方の端部に突出した複数の負極タブを含み、前記負極と電気的に接続された負極タブ群と、
前記捲回電極体の外表面に貼り付けられている複数の巻止めテープと、
を備え、
前記捲回電極体は、前記捲回軸が前記外装体の前記底壁に沿うように前記外装体に収容されており、
前記封口板に対して垂直な方向において、前記正極タブ群および前記負極タブ群が、前記封口板の側に偏心して配置されており、
前記捲回電極体の前記捲回軸方向において、前記正極活物質層の長さが、15cm以上であり、
複数の前記巻止めテープは、それぞれ、長辺と短辺とを有する矩形状であり、
前記捲回電極体の外表面には、複数の前記巻止めテープが、前記矩形状の前記長辺が前記捲回電極体の前記捲回軸方向に沿う向きで、前記捲回軸方向に沿って間隔を置いて貼り付けられている、
電池。 - 前記捲回電極体が、複数であり、
複数の前記捲回電極体のそれぞれに、複数の前記巻止めテープが貼り付けられている、
請求項1に記載の電池。 - 複数の前記巻止めテープが、前記正極タブ群と前記負極タブ群とを結ぶ直線上に配置されている、
請求項1または2に記載の電池。 - 前記捲回軸方向において、前記正極活物質層の長さを100%としたときに、複数の前記巻止めテープの合計長さの割合が、20%以上70%以下である、
請求項1から3のいずれか1つに記載の電池。 - 隣り合う複数の前記巻止めテープ同士の間隔が、30mm以上105mm以下である、
請求項1から4のいずれか1つに記載の電池。 - 底壁と、前記底壁に対向する開口と、を有する外装体と、
前記外装体の前記開口を封口する封口板と、
正極活物質層を有する帯状の正極と、負極活物質層を有する帯状の負極とが、帯状のセパレータを介して積層され、捲回軸を中心に捲回されてなる1つまたは複数の捲回電極体と、
前記捲回電極体の捲回軸方向の一方の端部に突出した複数の正極タブを含み、前記正極と電気的に接続された正極タブ群と、
前記捲回電極体の前記捲回軸方向の他方の端部に突出した複数の負極タブを含み、前記負極と電気的に接続された負極タブ群と、
を備え、
前記捲回電極体は、前記捲回軸が前記外装体の前記底壁に沿うように前記外装体に収容されており、
前記封口板に対して垂直な方向において、前記正極タブ群および前記負極タブ群が、前記封口板の側に偏心して配置されており、
前記捲回電極体の前記捲回軸方向において、前記正極活物質層の長さが、15cm以上であり、
前記捲回電極体の外表面には、複数の巻止めテープが前記捲回軸方向に沿って間隔を置いて貼り付けられている、
電池。 - 前記捲回電極体が、複数である、
請求項6に記載の電池。 - 複数の前記巻止めテープが、前記正極タブ群と前記負極タブ群とを結ぶ直線上に配置されている、
