Description
Claims (9)
- 導波路ディスプレイ素子であって、
互いの上に積み重ねられた3つの導波路層を少なくとも含む導波路と、
前記導波路層のそれぞれに関連すると共に、前記導波路層の面内で互いに対して変位している複数の回析内部結合格子であって、前記導波路に結合された複数の異なる光波長範囲の入力瞳孔を形成する前記回析内部結合格子と、
多色イメージが形成されるように、前記入力瞳孔を通して内部結合された光を結合すると共に、前記導波路の前記導波路層を伝搬する回折外部結合手段と、
を含み、
前記入力瞳孔は、各入力瞳孔の各中心角に到達する光を内部結合するように構成され、
前記入力瞳孔の前記複数の回析内部結合格子は、前記内部結合された光の視野変位補正を行うように、それぞれ異なり、
前記回析内部結合格子の少なくとも2つが前記導波路層の間に配置され、前記導波路層のひとつ又は複数が光が前記回析内部結合格子を覆うことにより前記回析内部結合格子にまで通過することを可能にする、導波路ディスプレイ素子。 - 前記導波路層のそれぞれは、それぞれ異なる面内カバレッジを有し、前記回析内部結合格子のそれぞれは、前記導波路ディスプレイ素子の外面上に配置される、請求項1に記載の導波路ディスプレイ素子。
- 前記入力瞳孔は、単一の収束点から到達する光を内部結合するように構成される、請求項1から2のいずれか一項に記載の導波路ディスプレイ素子。
- 前記入力瞳孔が、前記導波路の平面上で互いに対して直線的または三角形状に配置され、互いに重なり合わない、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の導波路ディスプレイ素子。
- 前記回析内部結合格子のそれぞれが、格子周期および/または格子微細構造プロファイルの点で他の結合格子と異なる、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の導波路ディスプレイ素子。
- イメージプロジェクタと、導波路ディスプレイ素子とを備えるパーソナル表示装置であって、
前記導波路ディスプレイ素子は、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の素子であり、前記イメージプロジェクタは、複数の異なる波長範囲を複数の異なる角度で複数の異なる入力瞳孔に向けるように構成される、パーソナル表示装置。 - 前記イメージプロジェクタは、レーザイメージプロジェクタである、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記レーザイメージプロジェクタは、前記入力瞳孔を複数のそれぞれ異なる波長のレーザ光線で同時にまたは交互に走査するように構成された走査レーザ光線プロジェクタである、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記イメージプロジェクタは、複数の異なる波長のサブイメージを前記入力瞳孔に同時に提示するように構成された大面積プロジェクタである、請求項6または7に記載の装置。
