Description
自動車用の摩擦ブレーキは、一般に、摩擦制動体として、ブレーキディスクと、ブレーキパッドを備えた少なくとも1つの制輪子とを有する。制輪子は、制動作用を得るために、ブレーキディスクに押し付けられる。ブレーキディスクは、一般に、自動車の車輪に相対回動不能に結合されており、制輪子は、車体に取り付けられて変位可能に配置されている。制輪子がブレーキディスクに押し付けられると、制輪子とブレーキディスクとの間の摩擦接触に基づきブレーキディスクに擦傷が生じて、ブレーキディスクの摩耗ならびにブレーキ粉塵を発生させ、ブレーキ粉塵は周囲環境に達してしまう。この摩耗を低減するために、摩擦制動体の、少なくとも制輪子との接触領域に、摩耗防護層を設けることが知られている。例えば、摩擦制動体の、ねずみ鋳鉄から作製された基体に、超硬合金または炭化物を基礎とする摩耗防護層を被着することが知られている。さらに、摩耗防護層と基体との間に、特にこの摩耗防護層と基体との間の定着剤および防食層として働く中間層を設けることが知られている。
請求項1の特徴を有する本発明に係る摩擦制動体は、中間層への摩耗防護層の付着、ならびに摩擦制動体の耐亀裂性および耐食性が改善されるという利点を有する。このためには、中間層が、本発明によれば、金属製の中間層であり、レーザ肉盛溶接によって基体に被着されている。

- 自動車の摩擦ブレーキ用の摩擦制動体(1)であって、
基体(3)と、
前記基体(3)に被着された少なくとも1つの摩耗防護層(5)と、
前記摩耗防護層(5)と前記基体(3)との間に位置する少なくとも1つの金属製の中間層(6)と、
を備える、摩擦制動体(1)において、
前記中間層(6)は、レーザ肉盛溶接によって被着された金属製の中間層(6)であり、
前記摩耗防護層(5)は、炭化物、酸化物、窒化物もしくはホウ化物から成る硬質材料粒子が挿入された鉄系合金として形成されており、
前記中間層(6)の層厚さが、前記摩耗防護層(5)に挿入された前記硬質材料粒子の平均粒径の少なくとも2倍に相当することを特徴とする、摩擦制動体(1)。 - 前記中間層(6)は、ニッケル系合金、コバルト系合金または鉄系合金であることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の摩擦制動体(1)。
- 前記中間層(6)は、少なくとも2相の組織を有することを特徴とする、請求項1または2記載の摩擦制動体(1)。

前記中間層(6)をレーザ肉盛溶接によって前記基体(3)に被着し、
前記摩耗防護層(5)は、炭化物、酸化物、窒化物もしくはホウ化物から成る硬質材料粒子が挿入された鉄系合金として形成されており、
前記中間層(6)の層厚さが、前記摩耗防護層(5)に挿入された前記硬質材料粒子の平均粒径の少なくとも2倍に相当することを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記中間層(6)を、該中間層(6)が少なくとも2相の組織を有するように、前記基体(3)に被着することを特徴とする、請求項8記載の方法。
