Description
以下、第1の実施形態に係る核医学診断装置について説明する。第1の実施形態では、核医学診断装置として、PET(Positron Emission Tomography)装置を例に挙げて説明する。
上述した第1の実施形態では、核医学診断装置として、PET装置100を例に挙げて説明した。第2の実施形態では、核医学診断装置として、SPECT(Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography)装置を例に挙げて説明する。
これまで第1及び第2の実施形態について説明したが、上述した第1及び第2の実施形態以外にも、種々の異なる形態にて実施されてよいものである。

Claims (4)
- PET(Positron Emission Tomography)検出器と、
前記PET検出器の内側に、被検体の周囲を取り囲むようにリング状で形成され、かつ、着脱可能に設けられる散乱体と、
前記リング状で形成された前記散乱体を支持し、前記PET検出器の内側への挿入、及び、前記PET検出器の内側からの退避を行う支持部と、
前記散乱体で散乱したガンマ線を前記PET検出器で検出することでシングルイベントを同定する同定部と、
を備える、核医学診断装置。 - 前記同定部は、1対の対消滅ガンマ線を前記PET検出器で検出することで同時計数イベントをさらに同定する、請求項1に記載の核医学診断装置。
- 前記同定部は、前記散乱体で散乱したガンマ線が前記PET検出器によって検出されたタイミングと、対消滅ガンマ線が前記PET検出器によって検出されたタイミングとに基づいて、同時計数イベントをさらに同定する、請求項1又は2に記載の核医学診断装置。
- 前記散乱体は、タイムプロジェクションチェンバーである、請求項1~3のいずれか1つに記載の核医学診断装置。
