Claims (17)
- RFIDチップと、
前記RFIDチップに電気的に結合された導電性構造体であって、チューニングループから互いに反対方向に伸びる一対のダイポールアームを含み、前記一対のダイポールアームのそれぞれは負荷端部で終端し、前記負荷端部のそれぞれは前記負荷端部の一部分が空洞化されて形成された開口部と前記開口部を取り囲むループ状の前記負荷端部の残部とを備えている、導電性構造体と、
を含む、金属探知機耐性RFID装置。 - 前記導電性構造体の厚さは、前記金属探知機耐性RFID装置において使用される周波数に対する前記導電性構造体の表皮深さより大きい、請求項1に記載の金属探知機耐性RFID装置。
- 前記導電性構造体の空洞化された前記負荷端部の一部分は前記導電性構造体の他の部分より小さい電流フローを有し、空洞化された前記負荷端部の前記一部分は除去されている、請求項1から2のいずれか一項に記載の金属探知機耐性RFID装置。
- 前記導電性構造体の空洞化された前記負荷端部は、x線検査の際、金属異物の検出を遮断しない、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の金属探知機耐性RFID装置。
- 前記導電性構造体の総金属体積は、0.52mm 3 未満である、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の金属探知機耐性RFID装置。
- RFID装置の金属質量を減少させる方法であって、
RFID装置とともに用いられる導電性構造体であって、チューニングループから互いに反対方向に伸びる一対のダイポールアームを含み、前記一対のダイポールアームのそれぞれは負荷端部で終端する、導電性構造体を用意することと、
前記導電性構造体の厚さを減少させることと、
前記導電性構造体の前記負荷端部の一部分を空洞化して、開口部と前記開口部を取り囲むループ状の前記負荷端部の残部とを形成することと、を含み、
前記導電性構造体の空洞化された前記一部分の電流フローは前記導電性構造体の他の部分の電流フローより小さい、RFID装置の金属質量を減少させる方法。 - 前記導電性構造体の表皮深さを計算することをさらに含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性構造体の厚さは、前記RFID装置において使用される周波数に対する前記導電性構造体の表皮深さよりも大きい、請求項6または7に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性構造体は、チューニングループから伸びて負荷端部で終わる一対のダイポールアームを含む、請求項6から8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性構造体の前記一部分は前記導電性構造体の一対の負荷端部のうちの少なくとも一つに位置する、請求項6から9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 金属探知機に耐性を有するRFID装置とともに用いられる導電性構造体であって、
前記導電性構造体は前記RFID装置に電気的に結合され、チューニングループから互いに反対方向に伸びる一対のダイポールアームを含み、前記一対のダイポールアームのそれぞれは負荷端部で終端し、前記負荷端部のそれぞれは前記負荷端部の一部分が空洞化されて形成された開口部と前記開口部を取り囲むループ状の前記負荷端部の残部とを備えている、導電性構造体。 - 前記導電性構造体の総金属体積は、0.52mm 3 未満である、請求項11に記載の導電性構造体。
- 前記導電性構造体はアルミニウムを含む、請求項11から12のいずれか一項に記載の導電性構造体。
- 前記導電性構造体の厚さは、前記RFID装置において使用される周波数に対する前記導電性構造体の表皮深さより大きい、請求項11から13のいずれか一項に記載の導電性構造体。
- 前記導電性構造体の一部分が除去されている、請求項11から14のいずれか一項に記載の導電性構造体。
- 前記導電性構造体の厚さは蒸着によって得られる、請求項11から15のいずれか一項に記載の導電性構造体。
- 前記導電性構造体は、導電性インクを印刷するかホイルを切断することによって製造される、請求項11から16のいずれか一項に記載の導電性構造体。
