Description
また、カバー11には電動モータ12への電力供給用配線と、図示しない回転角度センサ等に接続する配線を外部に接続するためのコネクタ30が備えられている。コネクタ30は、電動モータ12の上部に配置され、バルブボディ16の側方に向けて、即ちモータシャフト13の軸線方向に対して垂直に向けて配置される。
図5に示すように、アッパボディ21とカバー11とをレーザ溶着する際には、カバー11側からカバー側縁部51にレーザ光LBを全周に亘って照射する。これにより、カバー側縁部51とボディ側縁部50とをレーザ溶着させて固定し、アッパボディ21とカバー11との間の収容空間19を密閉する。

Claims (5)
- 流体通路を有するバルブボディと、前記流体通路の流路断面積を調整する弁体と、電動モータと、前記バルブボディに固定され前記バルブボディとの間に収容空間が形成されるカバーと、前記収容空間に配置され前記電動モータの駆動軸であるモータシャフトの回転を減速し駆動トルクを増加して前記弁体を駆動するバルブシャフトに伝達する変速機と、を有し、
前記モータシャフトと前記バルブシャフトとは平行に配置され、
前記バルブボディと前記カバーとはレーザ溶着されて前記収容空間が密閉される流体制御弁であって、
前記変速機は、前記モータシャフトの端部に固定された入力ギヤと、前記バルブシャフトに固定された出力ギヤと、前記入力ギヤと噛み合う第1中間ギヤと、前記第1中間ギヤに固定され前記出力ギヤと噛み合う第2中間ギヤと、前記モータシャフト及び前記バルブシャフトと平行に配置され前記第1中間ギヤ及び前記第2中間ギヤを支持する中間シャフトと、を備え、
前記第1中間ギヤ及び前記第2中間ギヤは、前記中間シャフトの軸線方向に並んで配置され、前記第1中間ギヤは前記第2中間ギヤよりも前記電動モータ側に配置され、
前記第2の中間ギヤおよび前記出力ギヤは、前記カバー内に配置され、
前記カバーに、前記電動モータの駆動軸の端部に近接するとともに前記第2中間ギヤの側方に、外部から前記電動モータへの電力供給線を接続するコネクタが配置され、
前記コネクタは、前記カバーの外周側端部に位置する縁部よりも内方に位置するとともに、前記電動モータの駆動軸の軸線方向において前記第2の中間ギヤと同じ位置に配置される
ことを特徴とする流体制御弁。 - 前記バルブボディはレーザ光の吸収材で形成され、前記カバーはレーザ光の透過材で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の流体制御弁。
- 前記コネクタは、前記電動モータの駆動軸の延長方向に位置し、当該駆動軸の軸線に対して垂直方向に向けて配置されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の流体制御弁。
- 前記バルブボディは、前記モータシャフトの端部の延長方向に向けて開口した開口部を有し、前記開口部内に前記収容空間が形成され、
前記バルブボディの前記開口部の縁部に外側方に向けて突出したボディ側縁部を有し、
前記カバーの外周縁に外側方に向けて突出したカバー側縁部を有し、
前記ボディ側縁部と前記カバー側縁部とがレーザ溶着されることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の流体制御弁。 - 前記流体制御弁は、内燃機関の吸気量を制御する電動スロットルバルブであることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の流体制御弁。
