実施形態に係る軟磁性粉末は、軟磁性を示す金属粉末である。かかる軟磁性粉末は、いかなる用途にも適用可能であるが、例えば、結合材を介して粒子同士が結着され、圧粉磁心や電磁波吸収材等の各種圧粉体を製造するのに用いられる。
実施形態に係る軟磁性粉末は、組成式Fe100-a-b-c-d-e-f-gCraSibBcCdAleTifCogで表される組成を有するアモルファス金属粒子を含む。
a、b、c、d、e、fおよびgは、原子%を表す数である。a、b、c、d、e、fおよびgは、
0<a≦3.0、
5.0≦b≦15.0、
7.0≦c≦15.0、
0.1≦d≦3.0、
0<e≦0.016、
0<f≦0.009、
0≦g≦0.025、
を満たす。
Fe(鉄)は、実施形態に係るアモルファス金属粒子の基本的な磁気特性や機械的特性に大きな影響を与える。
実施形態に係る軟磁性粉末の平均粒径D50は、特に限定されないが、1μm以上50μm以下であるのが好ましく、3μm以上30μm以下であるのがより好ましく、5μm以上20μm以下であるのがさらに好ましい。このような平均粒径の軟磁性粉末を用いることにより、渦電流が流れる経路を短くすることができる。その結果、粒子内において発生する渦電流損失を十分に抑制可能な軟磁性粉末が得られる。
実施形態に係る軟磁性粉末の保磁力は、特に限定されないが、3.0[Oe]以下(239[A/m]以下)であるのが好ましく、0.1[Oe]以上2.0[Oe]以下(8.0[A/m]以上159[A/m]以下)であるのがより好ましい。このように保磁力が小さい軟磁性粉末を用いることにより、高周波域で用いられてもヒステリシス損失を十分に抑制可能な圧粉体を製造することができる。
次に、前述した軟磁性粉末の製造方法の一例について説明する。
次に、実施形態に係る圧粉磁心および磁性素子について説明する。
3.1.トロイダルタイプ
まず、実施形態に係る磁性素子の一例であるトロイダルタイプのコイル部品について説明する。
図1は、トロイダルタイプのコイル部品を模式的に示す平面図である。
混合物中には、必要に応じて、任意の目的で各種添加剤を添加するようにしてもよい。
次に、実施形態に係る磁性素子の一例である閉磁路タイプのコイル部品について説明する。
図2は、閉磁路タイプのコイル部品を模式的に示す透過斜視図である。
次に、実施形態に係る磁性素子を備える電子機器について、図3~図5に基づいて説明する。
次に、本実施形態に係る磁性素子を備える移動体について、図6に基づき説明する。
図6は、実施形態に係る磁性素子を備える移動体である自動車を示す斜視図である。
6.軟磁性粉末の製造
6.1.サンプルNo.1
まず、原材料を高周波誘導炉で溶融するとともに、水アトマイズ法により粉末化してアモルファス金属粒子を得た。次いで、ふるいを用いて分級した。
アモルファス金属粒子の組成を表1または表2に示すようにした以外は、サンプルNo.1と同様にして軟磁性粉末を得た。
7.1.粒度分布
各サンプルNo.の軟磁性粉末について、粒度分布測定を行った。なお、この測定は、日機装株式会社製のレーザー回折方式の粒度分布測定装置、マイクロトラック、HRA9320-X100により行った。そして、粒度分布から軟磁性粉末の粒径D10、D50、D90、および(D90-D10)/D50を算出した。算出結果を表1または表2に示す。
各サンプルNo.の軟磁性粉末について、磁化測定装置として玉川製作所社VSMシステム TM-VSM1230-MHHLを用い、保磁力を測定した。測定結果を表1または表2に示す。
各サンプルNo.の軟磁性粉末を用い、以下のようにして圧粉磁心および磁性素子を製造した。
・成形体の形状:リング状
・成形体の寸法:外径φ14mm、内径φ7mm、厚さ3mm
・成形圧力 :成形圧力294MPa
・導線の線径 :0.6mm
・巻き数(透磁率測定時) :7ターン
・巻き数(コアロス測定時):1次側36ターン、2次側36ターン
9.1.透磁率
各サンプルNo.の軟磁性粉末を用いて製造した磁性素子について、Agilent社の4294Aプレシジョン・インピーダンス・アナライザーを用いて周波数100kHzにおける透磁率を測定した。そして、得られた透磁率を、以下の評価基準に照らして評価した。
B:透磁率が17以上20未満である
C:透磁率が14以上17未満である
D:透磁率が14未満である
評価結果を表1または表2に示す。
各サンプルNo.の軟磁性粉末を用いて製造した磁性素子について、コアロスPcvを測定した。なお、測定条件として、測定周波数を1MHz、最大磁束密度Bmを50mT、とした。そして、得られたコアロスを、以下の評価基準に照らして評価した。
B:コアロスがやや低い(表1では200kW/m3以上250kW/m3未満、表2では400kW/m3以上500kW/m3未満)
C:コアロスがやや高い(表1では250kW/m3以上300kW/m3未満、表2では500kW/m3以上600kW/m3未満)
D:コアロスが非常に高い(表1では300kW/m3以上、表2では600kW/m3以上)
評価結果を表1または表2に示す。

- 組成式Fe100-a-b-c-d-e-f-gCraSibBcCdAleTifCog
[ただし、a、b、c、d、e、fおよびgは、原子%を表す数であって、
0<a≦3.0、
5.0≦b≦15.0、
7.0≦c≦15.0、
0.1≦d≦3.0、
0<e≦0.016、
0<f≦0.009、
0≦g≦0.025、
を満たす。]
で表される組成を有するアモルファス金属粒子を含むことを特徴とする軟磁性粉末。 - 前記組成式のeおよびfは、0.20≦e/f≦2.50を満たす請求項1に記載の軟磁性粉末。
- 前記組成式のeおよびgは、0.10≦e/g≦3.00を満たす請求項1または2に記載の軟磁性粉末。
- 請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の軟磁性粉末を含むことを特徴とする圧粉磁心。
- 請求項4に記載の圧粉磁心を備えることを特徴とする磁性素子。
- 請求項5に記載の磁性素子を備えることを特徴とする電子機器。
- 請求項5に記載の磁性素子を備えることを特徴とする移動体。
