Description
Claims (7)
- 内燃機関(100)のシリンダー(2)の燃焼室(3)内で燃料と空気の混合気に点火するための装置(1)であって、
‐少なくとも部分的に前記燃焼室(3)外に配置されており、予燃焼室(12)内で易燃性の燃料と空気の混合気に点火可能である点火装置(13)を有する第1の予燃焼室(12)と、
‐前記第1の予燃焼室(12)の一部の周囲に延在しており、前記第1の予燃焼室(12)に流路が接続されている少なくとも1つの第2の予燃焼室(15)と、を有する装置(1)において、
前記第2の予燃焼室(15)は、完全に前記燃焼室(3)内に配置されており、円錐台状に形成されており、前記シリンダー(2)のシリンダーヘッド(9)から出発して前記燃焼室(3)内に拡張するように成形されており、かつ前記第1の予燃焼室(12)より大きな容量を有し、
前記装置(1)が、前記第2の予燃焼室(15)周囲に延在している少なくとも1つの第3の予燃焼室(16)を有することを特徴とする装置(1)。 - 前記第3の予燃焼室(16)が、前記第2の予燃焼室(15)より大きな容量を有するように形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置(1)。
- 前記装置(1)が、kの数(ただしk≧1)のさらなる予燃焼室を有し、前記予燃焼室が、それぞれ上述の予燃焼室の周囲に延在していることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の装置(1)。
- 前記第kの予燃焼室が、前記第k-1の予燃焼室より大きな容量を有するように形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の装置(1)。
- 前記装置(1)が、燃料噴射手段を有し、前記燃料噴射手段が、前記第1の予燃焼室(12)より大きな容量を有する前記予燃焼室(15、16)のいずれかの中に延在しているように配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の装置(1)。
- 前記第1の予燃焼室(12)が、少なくとも部分的に円錐状に形成されており、少なくとも部分的に燃焼室(3)の方向に内側から外側へ先細りになるように成形されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置(1)。
- 請求項1に記載の装置(1)が形成されていることを特徴とする、前記内燃機関(100)のシリンダー(2)の燃焼室(3)内に燃料と空気の混合気に点火するための装置(1)を備えた内燃機関(100)。
