Claims (19)
- 繊維断熱バットであって、
複数のランダムに配向されたガラス繊維と、
前記ガラス繊維をひとまとめに保持する硬化済みのバインダ組成物と、を含み、
前記バインダ組成物は、水性バインダ組成物として形成され、この水性バインダ組成物は、高分子ポリカルボキシル酸基を主成分とする架橋剤と、少なくとも4つのヒドロキシル基を備えた単量体ポリオールと、を含み、前記単量体ポリオールの前記ヒドロキシル基に対する、前記架橋剤のカルボキシル酸基のモル比が0.60/1~1/0.6であり、硬化前の前記バインダ組成物は、酸性pHと、25℃の温度で300cP~500cPの粘度と、を有し、
前記バインダ組成物の量は、前記繊維断熱バットの重量で2%から6%までの範囲にあり、
前記繊維断熱バットのR値は、10から54までの範囲にあり、
前記ガラス繊維は、8HT(2.03μm)から12HT(3.04μm)までの範囲にある平均繊維直径を有し、

- 前記繊維断熱バットは、非圧縮状態厚さが2インチ(5.1cm)から6.25インチ(15.88cm)までの範囲にあるバットであり、前記バットのR値は、19以上であり、前記バットの密度は、0.41pcf(0.0082g/cm 3 )以下である、請求項1記載の繊維断熱バット。
- 前記繊維断熱バットは、非圧縮状態厚さが2インチ(5.1cm)から5.5インチ(14.0cm)までの範囲にあるバットであり、前記バットのR値は、20以上であり、前記バットの密度は、0.65pcf以下(0.013g/cm 3 )である、請求項1記載の繊維断熱バット。
- 前記繊維断熱バットは、非圧縮状態厚さが2インチ(5.1cm)から5.5インチ(14.0cm)までの範囲にあるバットであり、前記バットのR値は、21以上であり、前記バットの密度は、0.75pcf(0.015g/cm 3 )以下である、請求項1記載の繊維断熱バット。
- 前記繊維断熱バットは、非圧縮状態厚さが2インチ(5.1cm)から9.5インチ(24.1cm)までの範囲にあるバットであり、前記バットのR値は、30以上であり、前記バットの密度は、0.45pcf(0.009g/cm 3 )以下である、請求項1記載の繊維断熱バット。
- 前記繊維断熱バットは、非圧縮状態厚さが12.0インチ(30.48cm)のバットであり、前記バットのR値は、38以上であり、前記バットの密度は、0.45pcf(0.009g/cm 3 )以下である、請求項1記載の繊維断熱バット。
- 前記繊維断熱バットは、非圧縮状態厚さが2インチ(5.1cm)から14.0インチ(35.6cm)までの範囲にあるバットであり、前記バットのR値は、49以上であり、前記バットの密度は、0.57pcf(0.0114g/cm 3 )以下である、請求項1記載の繊維断熱バット。
- 前記繊維断熱バットは、非圧縮状態厚さが2インチ(5.1cm)から3.5インチ(8.9cm)までの範囲にあるバットであり、前記バットのR値は、11以上であり、前記バットの密度は、0.13pcf(0.0026g/cm 3 )以下である、請求項1記載の繊維断熱バット。

前記骨組部材のうちの2つの間に受け入れられるガラス繊維断熱バットと、を有し、前記ガラス繊維断熱バットは、
複数のランダムに配向されたガラス繊維と、
前記ガラス繊維をひとまとめに保持する硬化済みのバインダ組成物と、を含み、
前記バインダ組成物は、水性バインダ組成物として形成され、この水性バインダ組成物は、高分子ポリカルボキシル酸基を主成分とする架橋剤と、少なくとも4つのヒドロキシル基を備えた単量体ポリオールと、を含み、前記単量体ポリオールの前記ヒドロキシル基に対する、前記架橋剤のカルボキシル酸基のモル比が0.60/1~1/0.6であり、硬化前の前記バインダ組成物は、酸性pHと、25℃の温度で300cP~500cPの粘度と、を有し、
前記ガラス繊維は、8HT(2.03μm)から12HT(3.04μm)までの範囲にある平均繊維直径を有し、

前記繊維断熱バットのR値は、10から54までの範囲にある、躯体。 - 前記ガラス繊維断熱バットは、非圧縮状態厚さが2インチ(5.1cm)から3.5インチ(8.9cm)までの範囲にあり、前記ガラス繊維断熱バットのR値は、11以上であり、前記ガラス繊維断熱バットの密度は、0.44pcf(0.0088g/cm 3 )以下である、請求項19記載の躯体。
