Description
Claims (12)
- カテーテルアダプターに担持されているカテーテルと、
鋭利な遠位端を有するニードルであって、第1ニードル位置において前記ニードルが前記カテーテルを超えて延びるようにカテーテル中に配置されているニードルと、
前記ニードルの近位端に隣接して固定されている制動機構と、
前記制動機構を包囲する様に配置され、連続的に変化する内径を有するバレルアセンブリであって、第1内径、第2内径および第3内径を有するバレルアセンブリと、
を含み、
前記ニードルが第1ニードル位置を離れて前記バレルアセンブリ内に引き込まれる際に、前記ニードルは、ニードル引き込み速度プロファイルにしたがって移動し、前記ニードル引き込み速度プロファイルは、前記バレルアセンブリの第1内径、第2内径および第3内径と、制動機構との間の摩擦または間隔に基づく
ことを特徴とするカテーテルアセンブリ。 - 前記カテーテルアダプター内に配置されるクリップを更に含み。前記クリップは前記ニードルと協働することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記制動機構と前記第1内径との間の摩擦が、前記バレルアセンブリ内の前記ニードルの引き込み速度を遅くし、前記制動機構と前記第2内径との間の間隔が、前記第1内径におけるニードルの引き込み速度を比較する際に、前記バレルアセンブリ内の前記ニードルの引き込み速度を増大させ、前記制動機構と前記第3内径との間の摩擦が、前記バレルアセンブリの近位端の停止位置にいたる前記ニードルの引き込み速度を遅くすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記第1内径および前記第3内径は実質的に同一であり、前記第2内径は、それぞれ前記第1内径および前記第3内径よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ニードルが第2位置にある際に、前記クリップは、前記ニードルの遠位端を被包することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ニードルが第3位置に移動する際に、スプリングの弾性力によりニードルがバレルアセンブリ内に引き込まれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記制動機構がシリコーンワッシャを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記バレルアセンブリの第1内径と第2内径との間で、円滑な遷移を提供することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記円滑な遷移は、前記ニードルの引き込み速度の緩やかな変化を提供することを特徴とする請求項8に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記第2内径は、前記第1内径よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記バレルアセンブリの第1内径および第2内径の一方は、ニードル引き込み速度プロファイル変化させるように調整されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記バレルアセンブリの第1内径および第2内径の一方の幅を通して制動機構が移動する際に、前記ニードルの引き込み速度が低下することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
