Description
Claims (22)
- 流体管理システムであって、
少なくとも1つの流体供給容器から手術部位に流体を送達するように構成されたポンプと、
使い捨て流体コンディショナを受容するための流体コンディショニング部分であって、前記使い捨て流体コンディショナは、前記ポンプから送達された流体が前記手術部位に移動する前に前記使い捨て流体コンディショナを通って移動するように、前記ポンプに接続する、前記流体コンディショニング部分と、
前記ポンプを動作させるための制御システムであって、
前記制御システムにデータを入力することを含む、前記制御システムとユーザとの間の通信のためのユーザインタフェースと、
1つ以上の非接触センサと、
を備える前記制御システムと、を備え、
前記制御システムの前記1つ以上の非接触センサは、流体が前記使い捨て流体コンディショナを通って移動しているときに前記流体の存在を検出するように構成された1つ以上の流体存在センサと、前記流体の圧力を検出するように構成された圧力センサと、を含み、
前記制御システムは、前記1つ以上の流体存在センサのうちの少なくとも1つの流体存在センサが前記使い捨て流体コンディショナの少なくとも一部において前記流体を検出しないことと、前記圧力センサが正圧を読み取っていることとに基づいて、前記少なくとも1つの流体存在センサの近傍の前記使い捨て流体コンディショナ内の前記流体のレベルを維持するために前記使い捨て流体コンディショナから空気を排出するように構成される、流体管理システム。 - 前記使い捨て流体コンディショナは、前記使い捨て流体コンディショナが前記流体コンディショニング部分に配置されるときに、前記流体管理システムの前記1つ以上の非接触センサと位置合わせされる、請求項1に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記使い捨て流体コンディショナは、前記流体管理システムの前記1つ以上の非接触センサの前記圧力センサが前記流体の圧力を検出することを可能にするポートを含む、請求項1に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記使い捨て流体コンディショナは、入口チャンバと、前記入口チャンバに流体接続された出口チャンバとを備え、前記入口チャンバは前記ポンプから送達された前記流体を受け取り、前記流体は、前記手術部位に移動する前に前記使い捨て流体コンディショナを通って前記出口チャンバから出る、請求項1に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記使い捨て流体コンディショナは、剛体と、前記入口チャンバおよび前記出口チャンバを画定するフィルムとを備え、前記フィルムは、前記流体管理システムの前記1つ以上の非接触センサの少なくとも一部が前記フィルムを通る前記流体の1つ以上の特性を検出することを可能にする、請求項4に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記1つ以上の流体存在センサは、前記フィルムを通じて前記使い捨て流体コンディショナ内の前記流体の前記存在を検出するように構成される、請求項5に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記1つ以上の流体存在センサのうちの1つの流体存在センサは、前記出口チャンバ内の前記流体の存在を検出するために前記使い捨て流体コンディショナの前記出口チャンバの近くに配置される、請求項4に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記制御システムは、前記出口チャンバ内の前記空気の量を前記流体存在センサの位置より上に維持するために前記出口チャンバ内の前記流体のレベルが前記流体存在センサによって検出されるまで前記出口チャンバから前記空気を排出するように構成される、請求項7に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記使い捨て流体コンディショナは、前記入口チャンバを前記出口チャンバに接続するためのコネクタをさらに備える、請求項4に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記使い捨て流体コンディショナは、前記入口チャンバを前記出口チャンバに接続する内部流体経路を含み、前記内部流体経路は、前記剛体および前記フィルムによって少なくとも部分的に画定される、請求項5に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記使い捨て流体コンディショナは、前記入口チャンバを前記出口チャンバに流体接続するための流体加温カートリッジをさらに備え、前記流体加温カートリッジは、前記流体コンディショナが前記流体管理システムに挿入されたときに、前記流体を加熱するために、前記流体管理システムの加熱源からのIRエネルギに前記流体を曝すように構成される、請求項4に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記流体加温カートリッジは、剛体と導管を画定する薄い可撓性サイドシートとを備え、前記導管は、前記少なくとも1つの流体供給容器から前記入口チャンバ内に受け取られた流体が、前記導管を通って前記出口チャンバ内に移動するように、前記入口チャンバおよび前記出口チャンバに流体接続され、前記流体加温カートリッジの前記導管は、前記流体コンディショナが前記流体管理システムの前記流体コンディショニング部分内に配置されるときに、前記流体管理システムの前記加熱源と位置合わせされる、請求項11に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記導管は、入口導管および出口導管を含み、前記入口導管は、前記剛体の第1の側と、前記可撓性サイドシートの第1の可撓性サイドシートとによって画定され、前記出口導管は、前記剛体の第2の側と、前記可撓性サイドシートの第2のサイドシートとによって画定される、請求項12に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記可撓性サイドシートは、前記導管を通って移動する前記流体の前記圧力が、前記流体の脈動を低減するために変動するにつれて、膨張および収縮するように構成される、請求項12に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記制御システムの前記1つ以上の非接触センサは、前記入口チャンバと位置合わせされた入口温度センサと、出口チャンバと位置合わせされた出口温度センサとを備え、前記制御システムは、前記入口温度センサおよび前記出口温度センサによって検出された温度と、前記流体管理システムのデフォルト設定点温度またはユーザ入力設定点温度のうちの1つとに基づいて、前記加熱源によって前記流体加温カートリッジに提供されるIRエネルギの量を制御する、請求項11に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記入口温度センサおよび前記出口温度センサのうちの少なくとも1つが、所定値よりも大きい温度を検出したときに、制御システムは、前記ポンプが流体をポンピングするのを防止するために、前記ポンプを無効にするように構成される、請求項15に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記制御システムの前記1つ以上の非接触センサは、容量性センサを含む、請求項15に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記制御システムの前記1つ以上の非接触センサは、前記流体コンディショナの前記入口チャンバと位置合わせされた入口流体存在センサを備え、前記制御システムは、前記ポンプが動作しており、前記入口流体存在センサが前記入口チャンバ内の流体を検出していないことを前記制御システムが検出したときに、前記ユーザインタフェースを通じて前記ユーザに第1の通知を提供するように構成される、請求項15に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記制御システムの前記1つ以上の非接触センサは、前記流体コンディショナの前記出口チャンバと位置合わせされた出口流体存在センサを備え、前記制御システムは、前記ポンプが動作しており、前記出口流体存在センサが前記出口チャンバ内の流体を検出していないことを前記制御システムが検出したときに、前記ユーザインタフェースを通じて前記ユーザに第2の通知を提供するように構成される、請求項18に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記圧力センサは、前記使い捨て流体コンディショナのポートに接続され、前記圧力センサは、前記使い捨て流体コンディショナの出口チャンバ内の前記流体の圧力を測定し、前記少なくとも1つ流体存在センサは、前記出口チャンバの中点と位置合わせされた中点流体存在センサである、請求項1に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記出口チャンバから前記空気を排出するために閉位置から開位置に移動可能である、前記使い捨て流体コンディショナの前記ポートに接続されたソレノイド弁をさらに備える、請求項20に記載の流体管理システム。
- 前記1つ以上の非接触センサは、前記流体コンディショナの前記出口チャンバと位置合わせされ且つ前記中点流体存在センサの上方に位置するポート流体存在センサをさらに備え、前記制御システムは、前記ポート流体存在センサが流体を検出したときに、前記ポンプが流体をポンピングするのを防止するために、前記ポンプを無効にするように構成される、請求項20に記載の流体管理システム。
