Claims (1)
- 水素を含む燃料を消費して出力を発生させる内燃機関であって、
燃料を蓄える燃料タンクと、前記燃料タンクから吐出され気筒に向かう燃料を流通させる燃料配管と、前記燃料配管を流れる燃料の圧力を低減しながら減圧前の燃料が持っていたエネルギを取り出す変換機構とを備える燃料供給装置を具備し、
前記変換機構は、前記燃料配管を流れる燃料により回転されるタービンと、当該タービンを迂回するバイパス通路の入口を開閉するウェイストゲートバルブまたは当該タービンに付設される可変ノズルと、タービンにより駆動される発電機とを有しており、
さらに、前記タービン側から前記発電機側に漏洩する燃料を前記気筒に連なる吸気通路に還流させる還流路を設けており、
前記吸気通路に吸気を過給する過給機が付随しており、前記還流路上に吸気通路から前記発電機に向かう過給機の逆流を抑止するためのチェックバルブまたはベンチレーションバルブを設置している内燃機関。
